...................

Well I sure hope your not gonna be one of those people
I really wanted to head out to the lake next summer to meet you
so go ahead and organize all you want if you still feel the need I have a few closets you can do
but don't you be going anywhere on us :teeth:

No, your adrenalin just kicked in to get organized. I cleaned all day Saturday and Sunday. They heavy duty cleaning that was suppose to be done in Spring, but I guess you could call it my Fall cleaning. I packed 3 bags of my clothes and I am going to drop it off at Good Will.

It feels good to simplify.

How is the House selling going?

:grouphug: Hey C.Ann,
I think you are just doing normal stuff that takes place when moving, getting older and thoughtful. The timing of your paperwork for your DD and SIL is most likely due to end of year prep from the legal offices, cleaning out the closets, well, once you start to get a home ready for sale, it is a snowball effect, and reaching out to old friends and being supportive, seems to me like you are like that all the time! Set your fears to rest, logical situations, and then of course, the Holidays , Thanksgiving, even tho you do not care ot be with that arrangement, it is family, giving thanks, so you too, are joining in.
I hope you fell less anxious as the day goes on....

Pam

I think it is due to you selling your home and starting a new stage in your life. As a result you are getting done things that you wanted to and should have but had no push to do.

It could just be that the holidays are approching, it turns our thoughts to friends and family. That and selling the house most likely explaines it!

Nah, you're not going to drop dead. You're just getting your life in order to start fresh in the new place. Good luck in getting an offer BTW!

Hey Anne - you're in the Clermont area, right? Do you know what the employment situation for nurses is down there? The friend I spoke about in my post is considering a move to Florida - she really needs a fresh start - but doesn't want to be right in Orlando.. And how are the rentals? It would be her alone..

VERY VERY strong for nurses!!! Clermont is a lovely area with a couple nice rental communities--some are brand spanking new and would be quite affordable on a nurses pay. Clermont is a quiet and safe town, I have never felt unsafe here. PM me if you want more info. (PS--there is another DIS'er who I don't think is around here much anymore. She and her husband relocated to this area last year, and he is a RN, he had multiple offers and makes enough that she no longer needs to work! I can check to see if I can give her e-mail out.)

My dd is a nurse. She has had no trouble getting jobs at all. Good pay and benefits. I don't know about apartments in Orlando but check rent.com.

C. Ann - sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it sounds to me like....

you are pregnant!!!!!

Just kidding!!!!!!!! Sounds like you are in the mood to get some loose ends tied up with the end of this year. Hope your holiday is wonderful!!!!
