C. Ann - I don't know the answers to your questions, but I wonder why at this stage of your life you need life insurance. I have always considered it a tool to help keep one or the other of us afloat if one of us should die. If you don't have obligations that have to met at your death, why have life insurance. If it's not term insurance, you can cash it in and use to $ for additional income. Certainly don't want to pry or hurt your feelings but I wanted to give you this thought.
