.

Believe it or not, my wife and I both did just that this past Tuesday!!!! She "flexed" the day and I went to work for about 2 hours and then casually disappeared. We were so naughty!!!!!

Of course this was before the F&W Fest, but we wanted to see all the preparations and stuff! We had a wonderful time at Epcot. The park seemed almost deserted. We had a nice dinner in Mexico and just a great stroll. We laughed the whole day about playing hooky and going to WDW on a TUESDAY! :rotfl2:

...especially since we're actually leaving tomorrow for a weekend trip! :bounce: :cheer2:

Me - Me!!!! I'll people watch while the group goes on Mission:Space (the only ride at Disney that makes me sick) and join in the fun!!

I can see the Character Caravan now....;)

I would be trying out Soarin' and catching Figment because I looooooooove him!! :) When the WS opens I'd be in France getting a pastry!!! I wish!!!

So funny, I was just thinking the same thing this morning. I'm feeling a litle "off Kilter!"

I've got today off and had thought about it after seeing the ads in the paper announcing the start of F&W today. but I'm going to relax by the pool today. Busch Garden's Howl-o-Scream opens tonight and we'll be there until after 1 AM. but I've got a longe weekend next week too....who's up for it? :earsboy:

blowing off work for EPCOT, how about posting some of your favorite pictures from there?

Since someome mentioned Figment, here he is:

Disclaimer: I did not have my flash on, I lightened the pic when I got home..

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :jumping1:

Would love to!! I've never been tot he F&W but dream about it! Some day I will convince my family that they would love this...sigh....

I feel like that every day. Luckily, we'll actually be there next Fri-Mon. We're staying at Boardwalk, so we can eat outselves into a stupor and crawl home! Very excited!

Ohhhh I want to REALLY badly. I'm in north Tampa so it would only take about 40 minutes to get there...but I can't. Maybe tomorrow though............

Wishing I could be there now... But alas, we're not going until NEXT October. We have a baby coming and I'm so sick that our plans to travel now are ruined.

But I can dream... And I'm dreaming about lunch in Mexico, a fruit slushie in Japan, dinner at the Coral Reef. And I'm wishing I were riding the Rio Del Tiempo now.

::sigh:: It's gonna be a long year.

At least I know I'm not the only person sitting at work daydreaming about the F&W Festival opening today. But at least I'm doing the single digit dance and arrive at BCV on Oct 9 for seven nights... I can't wait!!

:cool1:

I'm going tonight or tomorrow night depending on whether it rains. I want to see Kansas.

Hey Michelle!!!!! A few questions:

In 23 days, is that when the Beach boys are going to be there? You closet fan you! LOL
I'm hoping to be there soon but it will be sooner than 23 days...

And who is that handsome man in the photo?! Wow! you look very happy! I'm tickled to see the pic! Thanks for posting it in your sig.
Hope all is well--it looks like it is!
{{{hugs}}}
And have a blast at Epcot.

Oh no, I'd much rather be sitting here at work. Um, yeah right!!!

But as someone else mentioned, we too are waiting for a baby (#2). When we had our honeymoon at Disney, we planned on going back every year for our anniversary. However, being sick, I don't like flying. And besides, we like to do plenty of boozin' when we go to F&W festival :drinking1 ...I don't think the baby would like that very much!

I will see you all there next year. Have a drink for me and enjoy your vacation...

Look in the food and wine album.

I just got back from Food and Wine at Epcot. I have taken pictures of all the menu signboards from around the World Showcase.

There is also a dance troupe from Botswana at the beginning of World Showcase if you turn right towards Canada. It is at the end of the Rose garden. Do not miss them they are great!!!!!

Some of the booths like the Honey and Peanut booths are behind Mouse Gear instead of the Rose garden area.

There is also a Goofy's Candy company inside of Mouse Gear. Looks like lots of great candy.

The only sad thing is they moved the marble "thing" in Mouse Gear. You watched the marbles wind their way done and it did lot of mechanical things. I wonder where they moved it to? I miss that.

Me too! And I only have to wait 4 more days. Then Disney for 10 whole days. :cool1:
