DW and I called on 3 phones this morning, got through on one phone right away and maybe another one (at least one phone got the "we're experiencing high call volume..."). We got all of the ADRs on our schedule - even got a CRT about 5 days in at 8:20 (we want 8:00 on that day or another and will try for 8:00 at the 90 day mark).

Total phone time for 8 days of ADRs - 25 minutes. It was interesting that even though we got the high call volume message on one phone, there were only about 150 ADRs made during our 25 minute call (judging by the difference between the ADR#s).

We did have a little trouble at first with the reservation#. The CM pulled up the reservation based on the number, but our name wasn't on the reservation. We're using a TA for our room reservation, and the first area the CM looked up must have had the TA information. I'm not sure if the CM ever saw our name or not. But a word to the wise - the name on the ressie might by your TA's.

Can you tell us what the reservation agent said when you asked for CRT for a day other than 90 days out?

I'm guessing CRT was the first thing you asked for - did you immediately say you were a WDW resort guest, or did you wait until she asked? I'm just wondering how the dialog is going.

thanks.

DW opened the call with stating that today was the beginning of our 90+10 period (that the terminology DW used) for ADRs and that she wanted to check for CRT. The CM said okay, give me your dates to start checking. It was either the 2nd or 3rd day that the CM found the open ADR and booked it.

After the CM had secured the ADR, she then asked for our bio information (ressie#, name, phone, etc) to tie everything together. We then went through the rest of the days/ADRs.

I just called using the 90+10 to try and get a CRT reservation and i got it for the last day of our trip December 16th at 8:35 a.m.!! :banana: I am from California and it is 3:10 p.m. in the afternoon and i said hey why not try?? This will be a perfect ending to the week before we leave on a 7 day western cruise. I am so excited i do not have to get up at the crack of dawn and try to dial & redial. Thank you to everyone for all of their tips!! :wave2:

Do you call 100 days out, or 90 days out for up to 10 days into your stay? I may be a little confused.

Thanks!

A few have reported being able to call at 100 days - some CMs went ahead and booked the ADR (many won't let you until 90 days though). The few who have booked at 100 days have also reported that the pre 90 day ADRs weren't tied to your ressie# like it would have been if you made the ADR at 90+10. A few were even told that their 100 day ADRs would be cancelled because of this. Most of us doubted this though, as Disney has more important things to do than scan for early made ADRs.

We called at 90 days to be safe and sure and it all worked out fine for us.

I think the simplest way to describe the system, the way it's *supposed* to work, is this:

1 - anyone can make a PS/ADR beginning 90 days from the date of the meal;

2 - Disney resort guests can make reservations as many as 100 days from the date of the meal, but no more than 90 days from the date of your check-in.

So, for instance, if you are staying for four nights, you can make a reservation for your last day 90 days from your arrival date, even though that meal would be 94 (or maybe it's 93) days from the date of your call.

Apparently some of the confusion is that some guests have been allowed to make ADRs as many as 100 days in advance, even though the reservation was made more than 90 days before their arrival date.

Hope this makes things clearer, and not more confusing.
