One reason why I decided to bring each of my kids separately for little four day mini vacations is just that.... my oldest (11) is a major ride chicken, and my youngest boy is a daredevil!
I decided not to push him last June, except for space mountain. It took 4 hours of bribes, promises and begging to get him to go on. He screamed, laughed and at the end was very proud of himself - BUT>>> that was it for th rest of the trip.
Our vacation was special for the little things.... Tomorrowland Transit AUthority, Wishes Fireworks Cruise (a wonderful night), Test Track, and Dining Out!
My next vacation with my 7 yr old, I will be upside down all week!
My advice is - don't push kids. They know what they like.. when they are ready, they will go. ANd some kids are very content just to wait.
