9 Year old B'day

Our first night at Disney will also be My ds 9th Birthday.
We are planning on getting tickets to mickeys magical xmas party, where would be the best place to have dinner and really make the day special for him?

Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort) or Liberty Tree Tavern (MK) are character meals that are really fun.

I will 2nd Chef Mickey's and if you are doing the MVMCP I would suggest Crystal Palace.

My 8 year old's favorites are Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, and Beaches and Cream (especially if you have a group big enough for the kitchen sink)
Crystal Palace is great, but the characters are Winnie the Pooh - probably a little too old for that.
