$9 rental, is this real life?

There are several cashless tolls to watch for and if you don't have the surpass they will bill the rental company and you will pay the fees through rental company.

There is no need to get on a toll road at all really for the itinerary quoted, however if you do find yourself on a toll road there's only a couple of cashless exits that I'm aware of in the area.
There is one at the Turnpike and SR 528 (believe this is exit 255, Consulate Drive (southbound only). It has a HUGE sign that says "Sunpass Only". It would be hard to miss. To avoid, just stay on turnpike until next exit (254) which has normal pay booths. You can pay cash at all of the other tolls in Orlando. Some exits are unmanned and will require exact change (the roll of quarters).

There is one expressway in Tampa that is cashless. It isn't an area that tourists would normally be travelling anyway.

The only other cashless only tolls are in the Miami area.

We have had good luck with Dollar Rental when we fly into Sanford. There are usually coupons floating around as well. I always Google to see what I can find.

I've never used Priceline before.....are there restrictions or special rules when renting through them? Do you get to choose which rental company you want or what type of vehicle? Can you make changes or are you locked into the dates/time chosen?

Thank you.
