We received 4 sets of magic bands. Only needed one set for the entire trip. I used the first set we received linked them to our disney experience and magic memories. I did need to go to the front desk each time a reservation ended. I needed to pick up a new parking paper. I needed to reapply each credit card to the correct band. My sister traveled with us so she would need also to provide her credit card picture ID and pick her new secret pin. I could take all the other magic bands with me and have them reset to allow them to open the room door. It did not take long because I always went early in AM around 7AM. Only the second to last day did, my band not work the third time I tried to enter the room, we forgot something in the room, the rest were in the car. Our room was not terribly far from the lobby I went there but then the line was long so I just left the resort and relinked my band at the end of the nite.

House keeping we were in same room 9 nites. We should of got cleaning fourth nite trash 7 nite. We had linked reservation 1 night, 1 night, 4 nights, 2 nights and lastly 1 night. We received fresh everything after night one and two, the third morning house cleaning knocked we said no need for anything, that nite a manager came to the room asked if we had been cleaned we said yes and we declined that third morning. The fourth nite nothing. They came the seventh nite and did a full cleaning, they did trash pick up again the next day. They might of done another trash pick up day, I can not remember.

The more complicated the reservation, the greater the chance that something goes wrong. Rather than linking the reservations, have MS modify the first reservation adding the additional days.

The less that you have to deal with the front desk and mousekeeping, the better the vacation.

I'm surprised that mousekeeping showed up at all. :goodvibes

Housekeepoing was still showing it as separate reservations. Getting them to get things straight is sometimes (read often) difficult even when you inform them of the issue.

As to constant changeover between reservations, i am somewhat surprised. I am surprised because what you describe is what we went through for about three years for any linked reservation of the same room, and then for our last two trips at BWV in Nov and Feb, there was no issue. We were in fact told at BWV in Nov that they had resolved the computer issues with linked reservations and from now on a linked reservation would end up with just one continuous reservation at the resort with no need to do any mini check in and check out, reapply credit card, change room key conections to bands, or get new parking passes. In other words at BWV it was just like having only one continuous reservation. I guess that improvement may not yet have reached AKV.
