9 days aboard the Dream has been wonderful...

Anxious to hear your reports. It's 28 days until we will be on the Dream. To say that we are excited, is an understatement. Look forward to hearing what we have to look forward to and what we have to be sure to do and what we have to be sure to look out for!

I can't wait to hear the show. I saw a guy from another Disney site on Twitter saying people were complaining on his shuttle about uninformed staff, things not working, etc. I can't wait to hear your take. There are obviously going to be issues with anything new so I don't know if problems were prevalent or if these people were just nitpicky.

I agree about hearing Pete's opinion. I can tell you that the "reviews" of Dissers are coming in on the boards and they have been very mixed. (the Adult pool areas and elevators, lines at the fast food, etc) I feel torn. I know when we were on the Magic in Oct we had a lot of the crew for the Dream on our cruise. Everyone was friendly, BUT things were off and slow at times.

I expect things to be off for a while, but paying public has very little patience. I know there are those that say we should give them some time to figure things out, but when I throwing down 1000's of dollars down that I work really hard for, makes me question if I can! We have full intentions of rebook for the Fantasy in the fall, but if things are still bad we may just stop DCL altogether.

Welcome home. If you are all tired of traveling, and someone wants you guys to check something out, I will gladly take your place. Any place, any cruise and any shopping. Can't wait for the podcast.

I am so looking forward to the Podcast's review and so appreciate you taking one for the team. ;) Our family will be on the Fantasy next summer. I have already listened to the first Dream Podcast 3x . . . and going in for another listen. :goodvibes

Here come the Donald Duck memory sticks!!! I can feel it!!! :D

Welcome home!

From your mouth to Pete's ear/fingers, Nikki. I really want one of those.

Welcome home, Pete. Can't wait to hear about your experience. I loved listening to the Christening voyage show.

Welcome Home!!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip!! :yay: and yes no worries about show length!!!

glad you are home safe and sound but i cannot wait to hear all about it! and post videos and pics SOON!

Welcome home....can't wait to hear all about it...I agree with another poster..if the show runs long, it won't hurt my feelings at all. We want ALL the details.....great idea on the auction for GKTW !!!

I'm especially anxious to hear the review now after reading so many negative experiences from the most recent cruises. I'm starting to get nervous about our upcoming cruise on the Dream in May. This will be our first Disney Cruise ever and I really hope I can have as wonderful an experience as others have had on the other Disney ships.
