Crystal, it was very nice to meet you and your son at the wine party. I wish we all could have gotten together more often....guess we'll just have to book another cruise. We are crossing our fingers that there will be a special itinerary in 2008. Anyone else hoping for this?

I glad you are considering Disney again. At least we saw each other a few times. I would settle for going through Panama Canal. I think a 14 days cruise would not feel so rushed to get everything in. I still want to be chosen for Who Wants to be a Mousketeer. Maybe I could get HiYaPal to be my partner again for Disney Trivia. (We didn't win but came in second}.

Oh, I forgot to add...you'll never believe they sent the stretch SUV to pick up just the three of us for the airport! We were so shocked...but VERY nice! I could get use to this.

I think we have decided just to go to WDW next year. Since we just got the kitten we can't afford the MED. but we have annual passes the the parks that expire in JUne.

I would really love to go to the Scrap COnvention at the Contemp. Sept.6-9 2007 but doubt I will get to. (maybe I can convince mom for a girls trip)

Does anyone have the photo CD info yet? I have pictures to share but no one to share them with My digital camera also fell in the Mickey pool maybe an hour before the wine tasting in Steph's stateroom and missed pictures of that too

We replaced our camera in Saint Thomas (well, we were just left port in St Thomas- purchased in Shutters ).. so I have pictures from there after, and the memory card was ok for what we had done before the camera decided to try out the pool...

I just talked to a friend and we are talking about a girls week in Martinique. We just have to find a good time for her to go.

I am so jealous that you have a friend that can go to Martinique with you! Dh is going (for fun) to Germany & Switzerland in a couple of weeks -- he added on Italy for work. Unfortunately I can'g get away without the kids and they are too busy right now for all of us to go.
I can't get any of my friends to go any where really cool with me! LOL!

To avoid hitting the deer, he hits a horse(the wooden kind). Needless to say the horse won traveling at 50 miles an hour. .

Oh MY!!!!!!!!! We are so glad that John is alright! Makes me glad that dh works 7 mins from home - he can stay on the feeder road (we live a block from an Interstate) all the way to work if he needs to..... In fact my dh has even roller bladed home before It's usually too hot for that though!

I just got back from my doctor and I have a hair line fracture in my left ankle. So between the walking boot I'm in and my back brace, I look like I've fell apart and been put back together!! I told Doc, to just give me a neck brace and let it be Halloween already!!

Stephanie--I really like the photo. We have some really good ones with Jack Sparrow. I would love to use them on our Christmas card, but the formal photo would probably look better.

Thank you. Why would the formal pic look better instead of Jack? Unfortunately for us our pics with Jack are all in bits & pieces -- a person or four at a time. We were never all together when we saw him.

Steph That is a great Christmas card photo. The people who get them are going to be laughing but maybe not since most of them know you.

Too funny!!!!! Our 23dd said that she probably gave many people a good laugh in the evenings -- *Who is that skinny white girl that is trying to dance?*

We are crossing our fingers that there will be a special itinerary in 2008. Anyone else hoping for this?

Dh tried to get me to book the DD in November..... I told him that I didn't think I had the time before Christmmas for any more cruises! LOL! The man would cruise every month if we let him! LOL! I keep telling him that the kids and I are busy!
I think if we lived close to a port I would have a really hard time keeping him off the ship!

The fishy gifts were FUN!!!!! I have all the different magnets on the door in the kitchen leading to the garage -- it is the only door in the house that they stick to!
We certainly enjoyed meeting you and your family.

The *Boa* -- did I mention that when Claire received the boa we were leaving for the kdis club.....I let her wear it to the club but, she wasn't allowed to wear it IN the club.

I am a little peeved at myself for forgetting to look for/at the new underwater digitals. (I don't even know if shutters had them). DH really could of used one since for some strange reason his digital kept turning off when he was snorkelling -- we have an underwater casing for our digital.
It was extrememly frustrating for him to say the least!

(((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) to all my new friends!!! Thank you everyone for making our 1st Disney cruise the best EVAH! Linda and I had such a great time. She was very thankful for all the insight I received before hand here on the boards. Pirate night rocked and we loved dressing up in our pirate garb - even though neither of us are big dresser uppers lol I got some great fireworks shots that night too Thanks to everyone who recommended the Castaway Stingray excursion too. Linda had a blast - best one of the trip she said - me, well I have to work on my fear of things touching me in the water! They were beautiful and so soft but I was having slight panic attacks cuz they were touching me lol

Alex - thank you again for the lanyards and nametags. That was such an awesome treat to have throughout the cruise. Definately something I will recommend for clients in the future booking on DCL and other cruise lines.

Steph - it was great to meet up with you and your family and chat. Thanks for all the help and info

Thanks to everyone for the Fish gifts. I had no idea what that was, but once I got to our cabin, it all made sense! You guys are very generous and wonderful people. I wish I would have been able to meet each and every one of you. We missed a lot - especially the last 2 days at sea after I burned to a crisp (after only an hour in the sun and 40 spf on - insane!). I vegged a lot after that in the shade lol

I would love to swap photos but I dont have a burner (yes, my computer is that old lol) I posted on the regular board so if anyone has some I am looking for it would be greatly appreciated. Or if you need any I will gladly share. We took over 2000 digital photos plus 9 rolls of film!!! I am sure my scrapbook is going to kickass

Hi everyone-

We got home this morning, it was tough to get off the ship. The second cruise was as great as the 10 day, but different. There were more fellow DISers on the 11 day and it was difficult to meet everyone and keep up with them. The 10 day DISers felt more like a big family. The weather on the 11 day was great, we got to do pirate night, but many people thought it took too long to get to the fireworks.
There was a fish extender contest, and we won first place for the adult category. While we were on the 11 day cruise, we got a call from our daughter that our house was broken into. The person broke out a window and took some things from our bedroom. It happened between 8AM and 2PM when our lawn service man called 911 when he saw the broken window. We think they may have spooked the theif because he only took some necklaces and a jewlery box, but missed a strand of black pearls and a pair of diamond earings. We spent some time this morning at the Police Station filling out a report. One one was hurt, and our losses could have been worse so we are thankful for that. I'll have to catch up on posts over the weekend. Alex

Hey those time frames work out for me also!! We are still working out the details and really still waiting on word about my friend before we do anything. I would LOVE to go to Germany & Switzerland. I was looking at the Disney Adventure stuff online yesterday and was like OH! ME! LOL I ordered myself a dvd to get more of a look at my options on it.
