I hope everyone had a great weekend, Here are some jokes to get laughing :rotfl2:

Things you will never hear on a Disney cruise ship:

I can't hear you dear from all the way over on your side of the cabin.

Gee, aren't these toilets quiet, I didn't even know you flushed during the night?

Come on in the shower dear there's plenty of room for both of us.

How come you never see the photographers on this ship?

These bar waiters never ask ME, if I want a drink.

This swimming pool is so big

I'm starving!!!!!

Isn't it nice that nobody saves lounge chairs at the pool?

The prices for these shore excursions certainly are reasonable!

It's the last night of our cruise, and I can't find our head waiter!

Look at the acres of storage space in our cabin

I can't wait to go home!

Hopefully a couple give you a laugh :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yep, I have mailed 4 packages and never had a problem. I highly recommend it. Just remember when you mail something to make sure that it is just for the trip and is disposable. Otherwise, you will either have to worry about getting it in your suitcase or finding somewhere at the port to mail things back to your address after the cruise.

Talk about HEAT! It has been in triple digits the last couple of days with more to come. I hate HEAT!

On the Repo, Ducky's lithographs were for everyone. Not just the Castaway CLub. He said then that he was working on one for this cruise. He is such a neat guy! On and off the ship. For that matter, we got to ride the elevator alone with Roy Disney and his wife. They were so nice and personable. Just like "regular" people.

We are going to be mailing some stuff, also. Not things we will have to bring back with us.... :)

Heat -- I know what you mean! triple digits, high humidity, no breeze.... How can it be this humid with no RAIN??? We (the North Central Texas area) are in a severe drought (3ft below normal over the last 2 1/2 yrs....)

Steve, :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Each and every joke pertains. I loved them. :lmao: :lmao:

You are right about Ducky. He is very personable as well. When we were at CC, he looked just like one of us!

Not just in Texas !! When I got into the car this afternoon it was 41oC / 106oF - absolutely unbelievible. It eventually "cooled" down to 35oC / 95oF.
By the time I got home (we live on the east coast) it was 31oC / 88oF. The air-con in the car was in overdrive.

As previously mentioned the in-laws have arrived. I was hoping the eight hour coach jouney might put them off ever coming again but apart from slow traffic in London (nothing new there) it was an easy journey :sad2: .

I feel a very long day in work tomorrow is my safest bet. :cheer2:

My parents and dh's parents all live in the same city as us. I very rarely see dh's parents -- once or twice a year at most. I'm pretty sure the feelings are mutual. ;)

My mom and one of my brothers works for dh (my sister and other brother have worked for him, also!),. He likes my family. :)

DH's father is the CEO of the company that dh is Senior VP..... And until last year his db worked for him. SO... Dh gets to see family all day. :lmao:

I hardly ever see any of them! ;)

Speaking of in-laws... Just found out last night that my DMIL must have major surgery on Friday... I just booked my DH on a flight to Houston tomorrow so he can spend some time visiting with her before Friday. She is 77, diabetic, etc... Prayers are appreciated. Her name is Mattie Metoyer.

I will say a prayer for her. Hope everything goes well.

Sandy - Sending a prayer out to you and your family. Hope all goes well. :grouphug:

Steve - Thanks for the laughs...great list! BTW, Shelby is SO DARN CUTE! Can't wait to meet her!

Ducky - I did not know that he was going to be on our cruise....I hope he is, that would be awesome!

St. Thomas/St. John - We are considering taking the ferry to St. John and renting a car for a few hours and drive around hitting the different beaches. Anyone else doing St. John instead of St. Thomas?

St. Lucia - Anyone doing and ATV tour here?

Antigua - We are still looking for DISers to share a deep sea fishing charter with....please send me a PM if you might be interested.

Seven more weekends left! (Sounds so much better than "seven more weeks of work left!)

Carry on.... :surfweb:

Sandy, sending prayers and pixie dust. I know how scary it can be for a diabetic. My mom had it.

We'll add her to our family's prayer list! {{}}

No. But, in Barbados Dh and some of the children are doing one. I'm doing Ocean Park & swim with a couple of my children.
In St Lucia I'm doing a beach thing with some of the kids and DH is doing a snokel excursion with some of them.

Sandy - saying a prayer for your DMIL.

Wan - I agree, 7 more weekends sounds so much better than 7 weeks left of work!!!!!

Sandy: We are saying prayers for your MIL.

Loved the list of jokes! :rotfl2:

Speaking of heat, on Friday I came home from shopping at noon and did not know that when my DS came out of the house he let the dog out, nor did I see her jump into my car. Needless to say 5 hours later, yes I said 5 hours, as we were leaving to meet my DH for dinner I realized I had not seen the dog all day. I took me about 10 minutes to realize she must have gotten in the car and when I finally got out there the poor little thing was panting like crazy! Thank God she was alive and well. I thought for sure after being closed in the car in the Florida heat for 5 hours she would have been a goner!

As far as the Islands go, we have no set plans for any of them. When you have a 2 year old and a 73 year old traveling with you, you learn not to make any set plans. ;)

Oh Dena, that is so sad about your dog. Gosh, I am so happy he was found alive. That must have been pretty scary!

Dena - Talk about a Hot Dog!!! All jokes asside, i'm glad to hear your pup was okay

Sandy - Prayers are here too :grouphug:

David - Its hot here too in California. aorund 100's. I was in my favorite store, Wal-mart (not!!) on Saturday and they lost power. 5-10 min of nothing but darkness. They are talking about rolling power outages today. Luckily at work we have generators.

Stephanie - What day are you having the Disboards party in the Walt/Roy Disney suite? LOL :rotfl2:

Kirsty - Hope you are having a great time in Maui. Don't forget to bring something back for me.....lol Give our love to your family.

Alex - What kind of wine are you brining to the party in Stephanie's room?

Cheryl/John - We didn't see the picture, if you need help, feel free to PM me.

Steve

Are we still planning on doing a tour of the state rooms?? Right now I have one of those "special rooms" which Disney dropped the catergory on. It was a 5 but down to a 7 because of a little piece of obstruction on the verandah. :rotfl2: I knew about this room after reading Passporter's Cruise Guide. I knocked on the door of the "special room" room last cruise. The passengers invited me in to look at the room.I booked it immediately!! Last cruise I had an 8 cat but Disney upgraded me to a 5. :thumbsup2 I got spoiled but I am curious what other rooms look like. I thought you had a great idea about taking a tour. Anyone else think so? :confused3

Here's a pic of the new budget Cat.13 room. (My Room)
