Good! Because aren't we supposed to have lunch one day? At someplace other then BBB? :wave2: Or is that someone else???? ACK!

I think it's someone else. Or I may be wrong. :confused3

I've been away from the boards for awhile... work got in the way, (I suddenly remembered I have to pay for this cruise) :rotfl:

So to catch up...

QueenoftheCastle.. I love your avatar... I just purchased that picture at Disneyland and can't wait to get it framed.

Goofyguy, ...I'm with you regarding the insurance, but I'm leary :scared: about traveling so long (10 days) and so far during Hurricane season... and just knowing that I have it for those "JUST IN CASE" senarios, gives me peace of mind knowing that I can be air lifted out of someplace or stay someplace a little longer than planned. So I'm for the insurance this trip. We got ours thru AAA.

mdvasquez, ...Thanks for checking about formal :groom: night... I got the same answer. Does anyone really know?... and I thought I read someplace that there were 2 formal nights this cruise? Is anyone wearing the same dress twice...?

Stepht5 & Alex... regarding lists and name tags/lanyards...
:worship: Thanks for all that you do... and I hope this is where I'm to post this...

My DH and I will be celebrating our 37th anniversary (9/6)
My DD Brandy & DSnL Steve will be celebrating Steve's return from Iraq & their belated 3yr Anniversary (5/30):love2:

Don't even get me started on their website! It took me 15days to get all my ressies done online!
And High Tea??? That wasn't on there when I booked -- and I booked before the CCers were able to book! UGH!!!!! My TA was right! LOL! She told me that I should just give her my list of what I want and she will handle everything with DCL -- I am letting her do that for me with our 2 oldest ressies. They aren't staying conceirge (we got them a Cat 8) & they've never sailed before.
I'm going to have to check about this High Tea thing......

Hi Stepht5,

It's so strange because when I booked dinner there were all sorts of options available. Then I checked again after I booked and it showed nothing available at all. Almost 48 hours later I check again and High Tea showed up with all sea days available. After I booked one, I went back and it shows nothing available again! I'm hoping Brunch will magically appear one of these times that I'm obsessively checking. *sigh*

Maybe they only allow one Palo booking at a time online and after a certain number of hours they allow you to book another??? :confused3

Who knows :rolleyes2

Sandysplayhouse - This is one of my all-time favorite pics of Mickey! I'll be looking to get a poster or large picture of this on our next trip to WDW too!

Queenofthecastle

We are really considering spending the day at Pineapple Beach but need some more information before we make our final decisions. Like how to get there, whats there, I can't seem to figure out cruise critic website. Thanks

Queenofthecastle... the one I bought IS a poster... it is beautiful...have you seen the Disney Traditions statues by Jim Shore for Enesco? They are very Americana and they go along with this picture of Mickey. they are for sale at the Park and at Hallmark... although you won't get your AP discount at Hallmark. I have "American Originals" which is Mickey with Uncle Sam holding a flag, both saluting... very cute and like I said, matching the picture.

Maybe it's Crystal..... I was pretty sure it was one of you two! LOL! Now watch it be someone totally different! :rotfl:

But, if you would like to have lunch with me one day I would love it! :teeth:

I do know that I had to book the dinner and then go back and book the brunch. It wouldn't let me do both at the same time. I should have called DCL or my TA but, it had become an obsession with me.... ::yes:: I *had* to get it done.

I can't help with this... BUT, How was the WEDDING???? Details! Details!

15dd & I really want 22dd and her DF to get married at the Grand Floridian. She won't even watch the Disney special about weddings. :sad1: Of course when I mentioned it to her future MIL she tried hard not to give me a funny look! LOL! 22dd loves Disney so, I don't see what the problem is! :teeth:

That sounds good to me. I would love to meet you and have lunch. I'm hoping Haley will be in the kid's club (it's her first time there) so I should have some free time on my hands. :cool1: My DH Lenny won't mind if I leave him alone for a while.

It was amazing, Disney did a great joB!!!! I am still moving into my apartment so my computer is not set up yet (I am using my moms). I highly recommend a Disney wedding to anyone. My DH family are not big disney fans but loved the wedding. Thanks for asking.

Oh also wanted to thank everyone who is setting up special things or doing special things for this cruise, we can't wait to set sail!!

Palo brunch was out there a couple of weeks ago. I hope they aren't all booked. They probably hold some back for on-ship booking.

When you start your excusion research, don't forget the non-Disney options. A bunch of us got day passes to Pineapple Beach Resort in Antiqua (do a search in this thread for "Pineapple Beach". My DSs and I are doing shoretrips.com in St. Thomas...beach package for the youngest and me, while the oldest is scuba diving from the same beach. We are doing DCL's Caribbean Pirate Extravaganza in St. Lucia. Not sure what we are doing in Barbados yet.

Thanks for your advice, DisneyGirlTinkerbell...

We are thinking about scuba diving as well...it's between that or golf, we haven't made a decision yet. Decisions, decisions! :scratchin

Hello, hello, hello, chatty group lately!

I was so busy yesterday that I couldn't even get on the board yesterday.

So, I have read, free dinners, free coke, name tags and magnets. Hmmmm, wonder what I can contribute. Let see, morning coffee anyone? lol

Now my computer is acting up again. Why can't things just slow down here??

My mom and I (actually our TA) was able to book Palo brunch and dinner at the same time so I wonder why some of you couldn't?

Mom - I forgot to tell Torry about the computer. I will tell him tonight if you remind me.

If she is like my youngest (almost 5dd) you will have to beg her to leave! I know a couple of the CM's in the 3/4 group that we've met before are going to be there this time. They are great!

I wish cell phones worked on the ship -- that way it would be so easy to call some one & say *Hey, you want to grab a bite?* or *Want to met at.....?*

I was reading my Passporter last night and I didn't realize that on the longer cruise they have themed buffets for lunch! :yay: I may have to really work on losing a few pounds this summer. :lmao:

I don't know! But, that is just one of many reasons my TA told me to let her handle the ressies. :teeth: She did call DCL for me about a problem I was having and was told that they would be happy to handle it for me when I get on board.

Where was the wedding? How many guests? What type of reception did you do? How long did everyone stay in WDW?
