Ok, so I did my investigation and found that the other thread sat dormant from Dec 2005 through March 2006. Really this is the only ongoing thread. So pull up a chair, sit back and wait for the Wonder to cruise!

FYI, I posted pretty much the same thing over there so we can catch anyone that might be confused.

AWell, we are back from Vegas and back to reality. We had a great time and awesome weather. We even came out ahead in the money department. It was so nice. Today, we are back to work and baseball. Our son plays for his high school and he has a game tonight. Isn't it funny how you only are home for ten minutes and you remember why you needed a vacation.

Is anyone here hitting the Med. cruises? I am on the first one, and really excited about it... My friend David (who will also be on this cruise) is splitting the Roy Suite with me on the 5/26/07 med. cruise, so it should be memorable!

Well, I'll pop in from time to time, but mainly i will be here a LOT in the month right before the cruise... Take care all!

The snow is back. Yuck!!! I think it is only supposed to last a day, but who knows. Ohio has the craziest weather.

I had a sad morning. I got called into work because one of our resident's passed away. My staff was having a hard time dealing with it, so I went in to help them cope. I am so lucky to have such a caring staff.

Has anyone heard anything about the excursions for this trip. If you have please share the information. It is time to start planning this awesome trip. My little children ask almost every day, "how much longer until we go on Mickey's boat?" They are so excited.

I had a sad morning. I got called into work because one of our resident's passed away. My staff was having a hard time dealing with it, so I went in to help them cope. I am so lucky to have such a caring staff.

It takes a very special person to be able to do your job. I am way too emotional and I would get too attatched to the residents. I'm sorry you had a sad day yesterday.

I finally booked my airplane tickets. They were having an awesome 1 day sale on American Airlines. But now I have heard so many horror stories about AA I am a little worried!!!

I also booked my WDW trip before the cruise and got the free dining. I haven't heard anything about excursions yet. I wonder if the 11 day thread has found any excursions.

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been MIA for so long. Glad to see so many new people have joined the group.

Unfortunately, we too have decided to cancel this cruise. It was a hard decision but we had many reasons for cancelling. We are going to change our reservation to the May Med repo but still not positive we will be doing that one.

I have changed the main page to show DisneyGirlTinkerbell is now keeping the roster. If you all want to continue any of the other activities that were listed, I need someone to volunteer to take one or more over. Since Miss Eeyore and Landmark have also cancelled this cruise, the following are up for grabs.

Organizing linked dining
Organizing stateroom tour
T-shirts
Door magnets - If you want to use the original design, I can e-mail it to someone)
List of special occasions (I have listed these on the first post so everyone will know who's celebrating!)

If you want anything added to the first post on this thread, i can still do that. I will try to visit the DIS more often to keep up with it.


I hope you all have a WONDERful cruise and I'm so sad we will not be sailing with all of you.

Oh...so sad I was looking forward to meeting you! I started my own business this year and if things go well, I may see you next year on the May Med repo cruise.

I will handle the door magnets. Please email the design to me in a private message. Hopefully, others will step up for the t-shirts, linked dining, and stateroom tours. I'm glad you will continue to update the special occasions.

We, also, booked our flights yesterday!! I was waiting for JetBlue to open up their dates and they did thru 10/06!! We usually fly delta, but have started to fly jetblue. I don't know what would happen if we got on a delta flight that wasn't equiped w/the tv's yet..as they are suppose to be converting them all over the next 2 years. I think my DS would be very confussed...that's all he knows. My mom and I were discussing how much flights have changed...in the last 20-30 years (I'm 30). Remember the days of cutting thru all of the cigarette smoke, to go to the restroom.
Now we are worried about TV to keep us entertained....

That's great! DH wanted to see how our youngest (she'll be 5 in July) handles the 10nt in Sept before he booked a Med. Unfortunately the suites are already sold out! Oh, well! We'll probably just go to Rome instead in 2007 -- that was our original plans anyway. ;-)

I nearly fly AA exclusively and have never had a problem! There *home base* is here at DFW.

We too just got our airline tickets. I would not worry about flying AA. We have done it many times and never had a problem.

We just got home from my son's high school baseball game. He is very excited because they won in extra innings. He is looking forward to being the starting pitcher in Wednesday.

We are also considering the Med repo cruise. We just aren't sure if we want to do that or plan a trip to Hawaii. Either way I am sure we will have good time.
