Today is wood splitting day. yuck I'm already grumpy since tom woke me up at 6:30 guess he can now start getting up and helping with the kids on school mornings. it's just wrong getting up before 7 on the weekend

You can tell fall is on it's way! It's in the 70's now and sunny, but this morning it was really cool. DS7 came back in for a hoodie because "it's freezing cold"......not quite.

I'm working on laundry today, need to clean at least one bathroom, and I'd love to scrap.

Day off with almost nothing on the agenda.

I have to give DH a ride to work soon, then I have to laundry and hope to use the bulk of my afternoon/evening to scrap.

We went out for on a tri-fecta of craft store shopping this morning. I ordered iron-on vinyl to make shirts for pirate night on the cruise, so we each need a black t-shirt. Got those, some bling, and some of this and that. Found an adorable pumpkin hat for Sophie in the $ spot at Jo's! Morgan needed more book covers, Dan wanted stickers for his cell phone, etc. I'm having a horrible time finding 100% cotton white t-s in my size! I want the 2X so they are roomy enough to sleep in after the cruise and my ACM is STILL out of them! Urgh! I'll try to get over to the other store next week, but I'm getting frustrated. I think we have enough for D and M, but I want at least a couple more (easy dressing for Halloween and cruise-wear) for me.

It is simply beautiful here today. Sunny and breezy. We ate outside at Whole Foods, they were grilling burgers, dogs and fish tacos. Very nice

I should drag out the Cricut and start cutting my ABC swap pages. Either that or snooze in the sun with a book...

Are you buying Binny's cabinet?

My day is both good and bad.

Bad: Since we are sleeping in the guest bedroom while the master is ripped apart for painting, it was hard sleeping on the full sized bed now that we are used to the queen. Plus, last time we slept on that bed, we didn't have a 14 lb furball trying to find a place to sprawl out too. And he is huge when he sprawls. Then, poor baby, has a hairball, so I heard him hacking away, and woke up at 5:30 to little vomit piles all around the family room. Ugh. So basically, I didn't sleep well.

Good news: Walls are primed, and it went as expected. Taking a quick break for lunch, and then will work on the ceiling. If that goes smoothly, I think I can get the first coat of color on the walls before the Husky football game at 5. But it will be a tight schedule.

No, no AC. But with the window open and the fan going, it's been ok. The room is on the north side of the house, so it doesn't get too warm.

Ceiling is DONE! I planned on 1.5 hours to do it and cleanup, but it only took an hour. So another break, before I tackle the first coat. I told DH, I guess I am getting better at this. My scrap room was the first room I painted, and it took FOREVER, and it was a smaller room. Although, I am not painting the closet in the master, and I did in the scrap room, since I knew I was leaving the door off.

I am officially ahead of schedule.

MDD, congratulations on the new space. The cabinet looked like a lot of fun to fill.

Well house wood is split and stacked to dry. couple of weeks will be the move over to the house. I got clocked in the head by one of the umbrellas we were using for shade. Wind popped it right out of the base and whap right in the back of the head. Finished the stacking ate lunch and took a nap thought I deserved it after 6-7 cords! now I'm puttin on cleaning the scrap corner of the loft. All that is doing is making me depressed cause I have all this stuff and no time to use it. guess I gotta make myself a schedule and get in a habbit. course then it cuts into my dissing

Sorry about the whack to the head I did a little reading and started working on my Hugs page. I got quite a bit done, and just designed some items in CDS and SCAL so I can start cutting and adhering.

Me too! Me too!!! But the game I really wanted to see ND & PU isn't televised.. ERGH!!!! WHY???? IU beat the stuffin' out of a team Thursday night..but its a team we have not played before...or as long as I can remember..and while the days of college life were a little misted I do remember them all!!!

Definitely fall like.. but the 70s made for great race weather.. DD is back to her normal XC times and knocked 2 minutes of her time... But it was funny seeing all the kids in sweats/sweatshirts and blankets! The weather was so great that our soccer team won the invitational we host each year!! double

order eeyore stickers found some...not the ones I really wanted but they are elusive!

I was wondering the same thing, that was a gorgeous cabinet.

Today was tag sale day over MomE. The weather was gorgeous, she had a great turnout, including the customary early birds that arrive two hours early. I even sold a piece of furniture. Poor Mom is exhausted. We closed up shop by 4:30 pm. I gave her strict instructions for a nice hot bath, a glass of wine, a little something to eat and then to bed.

Aside from the tag sale, all I did was make dinner. A concoction of chicken, shrimp, carrots and green beans.

We are all just relaxing so tomorrow we can get up and to it again.

Well I've been cleaning all day. Started in the kitchen moved to the bathroom and ended in bubba's room! My house needs a good
old fashion tlc. And throw laundry in there as well. Everytime I'd come down stairs to flip it I'd cruise over to my scrappy stuff and just look and shake my head. I've got so much stuff to put away and organize I don't know where to start. Ugh.
Dinner time and I took nothing out. So now what??
