9/28/13. Disney Wonder 7 night Bahamian out of Galveston.

Hi All,
so just checking back in...and now I see there are now FE groups, I was originally on the list in March but I guess I am not now? Can anyone give me a quick rundown of the changes that has happened over the last month or so.
I don't get on here all the time but do try to check in as much as I can due to my schedule it hasn’t been that often.

Thx

 Hi Mason4! I went back and researched a little bit and saw where you posted on page 5, #69, and the sign up sheet was post #62. Did you ever go to the FE page and sign up? Maybe you didn't click the send button?

Aggiegrl has done a great job of organizing us and putting into place all the info, and I'm sure if she missed your sign up, it was an accident. But we are also on a second group now (group B), and you can join that one if that helps. She did send out several "Last calls" for the first group, and it did get big, but there are still options for you. You can join the second group, it will probably get big also as we still have lots of time, and some folks from group A will probably be involved in that one as well. You can also join the Facebook group to get to know us!

I'm sure she'll be on here soon, and there are links to the FE sheet and all the info, on her signature and many times in this thread. Post 62 for SURE! It's never too late for some extra fun! And notice you only have 2 posts, so you probably can't pm her, but feel free to put your input on here, or join up :)!

Not much has changed, but if you need anything, just ask! Hope this helps!:goodvibes

Hi there. I think there might have been some confusion between the Roll Call and the Fish Extender sign up. I was maintaining a roll call list on my info post for everyone that had checked in on this thread, and I believe you were on that list. I have since deleted the roll call list because it was just getting to be too much for me to keep updated.

I checked back through my emails, and I don't have you as ever submitting a web form through the google docs for the FE list. If you'd like to be in the fish extender Group B, please click on the link in my signature that will take you to the info post and instructions for signing up. With several months left until the cruise, I think Group B will also be a nice size fish extender.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm trying my hardest to keep it easy to understand, but maybe I'm not succeeding.

Not complaining I promise! I am sure you are doing a great job. I just hadn't been on this site for a couple of months and wasn't sure what happened. The Facebook and submitting request was all new to me. I will sign up for Group B. This is our first cruise, first Disney anything, and first real vacation our family has taken so just wanted to make sure it was special and FE sounded really neat to do. No worries and look forward to meeting everyone.[/

:thumbsup2 I didn't think you were complaining. This FE stuff can get complicated for sure.

I'll probably sign my two cabins up for Group B too, depending on how many more people we add. The more the merrier, but my cabins don't need to tip it over into the "too big" category.

Does anyone have plans in Nassau?
I know Atlantis is popular but there was a lot of beaches listed in TripAdvisor that sounded good for a simple beach experience without the theme park atmosphere.

Anyone who has been there:
1. What did you do?
2. Did you feel safe venturing without a set tour or excursion?
3. What cool things would you recommend?
4. What would you not do again?
5. How did you save $$? (Someone suggested getting a room at a hotel that has Atlantis privileges instead of paying per person)

Does anyone want to do something as a group possibly?
Thanks!

We generally stay on the ship on cruises that visit Nassau. We like to hit the pools first thing because every one else is getting off or getting ready. It's really nice to have the freshly filled pool all to yourself. :)

We might take my DS3 on the semi-submersible or go to Atlantis and do the aquarium. With our small children, the typical Atlantis waterpark and swimming with the dolphins excursion aren't right for us.

I guess I never thought about staying on the ship
(also I sent my post without writing it, so it actually has text now )
Our son will almost be 9. We have a lot of water parks near here but Atlantis looks gorgeous!:beach:

We went to Atlantis in 2005. Once there, we only signed up for the Aquarium. Loved it, but felt like we were missing so much more after we toured it. We did feel safe and it was just my daughter and I. This time, we are all heading to Comfort Suites, will check in/out and then head to Atantis for a day of fun. :)

Where did you find that deal for Atlantis? Went to comfort suites couldn't find anything.

We aren't planning on getting off the ship in Nassau either. If the mood strikes us we may go and get some conch but other than that, we'll have a relaxing day on board. :thumbsup2

We are also going to Atlantis through the Comfort Suites. I just can't justify paying almost double through Disney. I pulled up some YouTube videos to show DS and he is really excited. I swear he is part fish.

What do most people do for pirate night? full costumes? My group going is all in mid/late 20 no kids... Just wondering

A little bit of everything. Wife and I are in our 20s/30s with no kids; usually a pirate t-shirt and jeans, bandanna...and copious amounts of rum.

 Morning cruisers! Just a heads up if you're checking for flights! Airtran and Southwest are running a great sale this morning. I had booked 4 tickets RT from Mem-Hou for $700 (and haven't had fares under $200 for quite a while here), so thought I was doing good. This morning I called, and one leg was $30 cheaper. Now I have $120 credit to pay for my luggage check in'...:yay::yay:!

HTH's someone!
