9/26/2010 Breezin' to the Bahamas!

New to the board, so this may be old news, but my TA told me that as of today, they have only 20 cabins left on our sailing!

We're getting close, everyone!!!

I was kind of hoping they wouldn't sell out or get close ~ I know that's selfish of me, but I was hoping for an uncrowded cruise, maybe an upgrade, something along those lines, even with no upgrade, I was hoping it wouldn't be crowded.

It's good for Disney though, I know their goal is to fill the ships And who knows, maybe I worry about crowds for no real reason, we were at Coronado Springs resort once and they said they were almost at full capacity and I'd have never guessed it, so maybe it will be like that on the cruise? ... trying to give myself a pep talk

Don't worry Beans! I have cruised many times on full ships and you won't notice much! And my moms says not to worry, ship wont sink!
Plus, just because the staterooms are sold out, doesnt mean the ship is at capacity. Some rooms will for sure only have 2 or 3 people in them and not 4! See, there is a bright side!


Mom and I finished FE shopping today. Thank Goodness!! Now....lots of working making and preparing everything...oh, and waiting for some of the stuff to arrive in the mail!

I noticed on your very first post on here you made a statement about you ds having someone to hang out with. My ds (Damon) wont be 13 till Feb but he is the type of kid that gets along with anyone but i am sure your son and mine would get along great my ds was worried he would have to hang out with his sister during the cruise .I know he is younger but he is a very good kid maybe they could meet at the hotel the night before we leave just so they have someone to hang out with on the cruise....

A heads up for you: when checking in at the desk, ask for the 4 th floor port side, rooms 400 to 420 [the even number rooms], that way you can see the ships come in [6am] on cruise day. PS bring some MICH . blue berries with. LOL LOL

LOL if i remember to grab some from the local orchard but driving 20 hours there they might be eaten lol and TY for the tip.....

FYI- If you are near a Meijers grocery store they have a special on DISNEY GIFT CARDS. The be reads "Load a Disney Gift Card with c least $25 and get a $5 coupon of your next shopping visit at Meijers. Hope this can help someone. Have not heard from Jen today.... must be her computer!

I am kamgen's dh and looking forward to meeting everybody. And I am really looking forward to the time off work and spending it with family and some great friends!

Yes, it is. And I must admit - even on a sold out Members' Cruise (and they're awesome!) I couldn't tell it was sold out.

That's good to know that even when they're at or near capacity it's not really noticeable I knew there had to be a real bright side (in addition to my wishful thinking)

That would be nice, esp. since we'll be there at the same hotel. We're driving down from Pennsylvania, and our goal is to get to Cape Canaveral early enough to look around and such, it would be nice for the kids to meet in advance of the cruise.

Sorry I have been gone this weekend but my virtual ceiling caved in. I finally have my work computer back.....but completely cleaned off. Good and bad. I have to spend today reinstalling all my software. That's the bad part Working on FEs tonight <looking at Kamy) hoping like crazy I can get to the FE gifts but if I can't...sorry guys! But I am going to do my darnedest. The last week I might not get a lot of sleep....oh gosh. that is 10 days away anyway, praying for orders I dont have to work on until after the cruise.

And, I got an email from a guy I knew like 15 years ago. He was such a sweetheart. True teddy bear and everyone loved him. Anyway, not sure why he emailed me but looking forward to finding out why. I might try to talk him into joining the cruise. Anyway, I am in a SUPER good mood!

YAY!!! I am sooo happy you like it! I am sooo trying to get everyone's done on time. My plan is to get the FEs done this week and out in the mail so you guys get them in time. Most all of my orders are due Oct 1st which we all know need to be out before the 25th. Anyway, you guys dont care about that I just hope that my energy stays up so I can get one done a night. I should be all done by Saturday.
