Just checking in to say we're still alive...but life has kicked into hyperdrive around here and I can't wait to get away.

Having a very "Wanna Get Away" moment right now!!!!!

Glad we're sailing soon...but now that's overwhelming to me! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Oh sweetie I know very well what you are feeling!! I am doing it too but it looks like I MIGHT have a tiny break to rush to get in my FE gifts...YAY!!!!!! I will be MUCH happier when I get those done.

I have been stalking the usps tracking site to check on my FE's progress to Pa, and it is showing it's been sorted at our local Post Office I have my fingers and toes crossed that it comes today, I am eager to see it Of course, here in the sticks the mail comes on the whim of the carrier (once I got a note left in our box saying the package she was supposed to deliver was left at the po "due to the impending storm" ~ it was a clear, crisp sunny day, so I have no clue what storm she meant lol ~ I just kept thinking she probably took more time to write and leave the note than it would have taken to bring my package ). Anyway, today is hopefully the day

Tomorrow my husband has to take my son to the suit shop, I think when they altered his pants they gave the wrong ones, these are way too snug. Still, plenty of time to get it all taken care of

The clock is really winding down on the cruise I am so excited

Oh, and did I mention my FE should be arriving (in theory anyway) today

Wow...that's a lot of pressure for the person that made the FE. I sure hope that person did a good enough job to live up to your expectations!

Everyone must be packing or working on FEs - this is one quiet thread.

Speaking of working on FE's... I have been working on mine (getting the pockets on is driving me nuts) Problem- most of the FE gifts I have bought wont fit into the pockets...so if you see a gift bag hanging on the door, well lets just say it is probably from us.

I should have the updated FE completed today, been having back spasms, so sitting at the computer (ouch)
But the list should be done after a Motrin.

Plus now we are looking into a back 2 back...so driving myself crazy with that.

So, let me get busy.

Speaking of working on FE's... I have been working on mine (getting the pockets on is driving me nuts) Problem- most of the FE gifts I have bought wont fit into the pockets...so if you see a gift bag hanging on the door, well lets just say it is probably from us.

Yes it would be the one departing on the 30th...we are still in the thought process on that. DBF is wanting to go, but cant do the 4-day as he would be just getting back to work (school admin). so if the price is right and a good OBC we might be doing a Back 2 Back

I am trying to keep it to 2 bags so we wont have to pay baggage fees(DH is gold with usair so we get 2 free) any tips- suggestions- words of wisdom and support would be welcomed

All I can say is, in all sincerity, good luck! I am going southwest and they give you two bags per person. I am trying to figure it out for each person to take 2 bags...even Victoria! LOL I am sure she will only need one and I will use her other for my FE stuff.

I am not sure you know this or not, but I have found if you roll your items, it wont get as wrinkled and it saves space.

Folding large items in thirds - like pants, reduces wrinkles and is space saving. Rolling is great. Using those space saving bags can be a lifesaver - even the giant ziplock bags can help. And remember on the cruise, the things you will wear most are small - bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts...

I don't know any more. I thought you or " that-beer-buying- party-on-Marks "V"-MACK" would know something about that. CALLING ON JEN , we have a question, look this up for us....would you? OK....here it is ; There are 4 groups [teams,if-U-will] of servers on the ship with different group names [The Orlando.the Paris, the LA and the Vegas group of servers] Is this TRUE or FALSE??..........You may phone a friend

@ Husurdady- I was pretty sure I saw you got an up-grade but for the life of me can not find that post along with your room number, can you provide me with your lucky room number (the room with the party )

I received my FE today Jen did an AMAZING job, I cannot rave enough about it, I knew it would be nice, but it is even nicer than I expected. I love the characters, the color, everything - I knew I'd be happy, but I am even happier than I thought I'd be.

Yes, I loved seeing Figment, it was a nice surprise, I was not sure you'd be able to get that character or not, so it was extra special to see That was the first thing my husband noticed when he came home from work and saw it too, and then he said how nice the FE is.

Like I said, I knew it would be nice, but this exceeded what I even hoped for, I couldn't be happier with it
