Well, the official one is Promenade Lobby 3:00 Sept 26 but I am hoping to meet up with some at the port. I am planning on getting there at or around 10 and after check in, go to the tvs. I am SURE I will be hard to miss! lol especially if I can find the leis. But we thought it would be good to have an official one that would be after we have all boarded and before the mandatory life boat thingie. Then we would all have our final stateroom numbers and we will be set for the trip. We can then plan more meets.

Thanks Don! It was not so great getting up early; it was not so great unpacking the classroom I had to move before post-planning; but it was GREAT seeing everyone and getting focused for the upcoming year. Hopefully tomorrow will hold some actual planning for the first few weeks - that will get me psyched for the students' return next week!!

I am so excited about the cruise! We did a lot of FE shopping yesterday - bought supplies for what we are making (Did you see the WE in that? My dh says he is going to help me and is excited about it! I am SOOOO blessed!), bought for the kiddos, and I started tweaking my packing list. Food and wine festival post-cruise plans are coming together!

The DIS is amazing! Just to let those of you know who are new to DIS or first-time cruisers, we cruised that DVCMC08 and met so many folks on the DIS before we left. We have kept up with many of them and tried to cruise again with several, though we didn't get to go. We have had meets in EPCOT to visit with our cruising friends, facebook with cruising friends in England, and we're getting together with Kamgen and her dh along with two other cruisers from that cruise during F&W. This has all happened because of the DIS. It's great! It gets me even more psyched to meet all of you in person!!!

For me Nemo (I even had two clown fish in college because I loved the movie soooo much, they were named Mango and of course Nemo!) and for Tiffany Dory! And yes we will be doing the fish extender! Thanks!

I've got a few discrepancies from my FE list...and wanted to get them out here before everyone buys something!!!

Eurekagal07 (see above)...I had them on my list but don't see them in one of the groups. Don't see a cabin number though. I'm assuming we should add them????

And...unless HollandDisney contacted someone via PM...I don't see them wanting to do the FE exchange. Can someone double check me though.

This will be the official meeting time but I will be there 10ish to get the first boarding pass (or at least TRY! LOL) so I will be hanging out near the TVs I am SURE I will not be missed. You can try to hook up with us there if you plan to be there before noon or try to catch us around 3. If you see anyone with a green lei, then come on up and say "howdy!" Or whatever it is where you live. hehe

If you want to get in on the Fish extender exchange, I am sure it isnt too late, is it guys? The cut off was yesterday. What dining seating are you in? We are joining reservations so we can all sit together or near each other (of course, this is voluntary. If you would rather not sit with a bunch of nuts, then you are obviously a very normal person LOL). Also, what is your stateroom number? We are dividing up the groups by decks. And we also need to know who all is going....because we are nosey like that!

An FE (fish extender) exchange is sorta like a secret santa, except it is Mickey based, and not a secret! All who wants to participate are on a list and we exchange gifts with those that are on the list. Since we are so big (YAY!!), we have divided it up into two groups so everyone has time to do more than just deliver FE gifts! lol It's mainly for the kids but it is also fun for the adults and a good way to have some really cool souvineers (my spell check is down so please bear with me) of the trip.

Did you want to combine reservations so we will sit together?

Its been kind of a slow rainy day here in South Carolina. So we've been dreaming about our cruise and getting in the spirit by putting together some FE goodies! We're having a blast - and the kids are loving it too!

Only problem... we may need an extra suitcase to haul it all! Uh oh!!!

Where in SC? I was at Edisto Beach just last week with in laws!
