I have been reading the DIS DCL FAQ thread to get as much info as possible on our upcoming cruise. This was posted for usual diner rotations:



I'm trying to make Palo reservation for diner (since there aren't any more available for brunch)...So is it safe to say day 2 or 3 would be my best bet in order not to miss eating at the other restaurants?

Sowwy! I was only able to book 2 for brunch though. So if they wont squeeze me in, I will let mom and her friend go.

I have heard many book the dinner when there is a repeat. Of course, you dont know your dining schedule until you check in at the port!

I have been thinking about this and I wanted to make it clear. Mom's friend is not like a partner friend....just a best friend! I dont know of anyone thought that originally, but I just thought I would clear it

3rd night is Pirate night on the 4 day cruise.....

Made my final payment this morning and booked all of our things - yay! We are eating dinner at Palo on Night 2 and we are doing parasailing at Castaway Cay - I have been wanting to do this forever but was pregnant last time - so that was out. Can't wait!!!! Also booked nursery time during our dinner time so we can have adult time and eat in peace - going out to eat is always a nightmare with Alex

Greetings all,

Just booked my cruise today and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! This will be my fourth Disney Cruise and I am feel like the little kid in the commercial for WDW when the parents ask why the little boy can't sleep and he responds with "because I'm too excited!"

Last year I had the pleasure of introducing the my two youngest siblings to everything DCL! This year I am stoked to bring my best friend, Tiffany! She has cruised on an other cruise line and she had the WDW experience when our High School Band played there. So I think she is in for a real treat! As are all of you who will be experiencing DCL for the 1st time.

If anyone has any questions about the Cruise I will be glad to help as best I can! I can also attempt to answer questions about Disney Vacation Club if you are interested in joining (I highly recommend it!).

You all are in for an experience of a lifetime (and one that you could possibly enjoy year after year after year!).

Oh my goodness! Victoria is going to be in heaven with all these boys her age. She usually ends up hanging out with the boys because she loves cars, batman, spiderman, iron man etc. If it is boy stuff, she is THERE! except for bugs and junk. And no, she has never seen batman, spiderman or iron man. She just thinks they are cool! go figure. LOL

Oh I am so sick. I have no time to work on mine I might have to resort to generic things. I am not complaining. I love getting work, but I am getting worried I wont be able to get to mine. All of you that had to peek at what I am doing, don't you tell!! I might not be able to do it!

I am in the same boat. I will have one week to do mine and that is before the Aug 2 cut-off, so that should be interesting; it is the only time I have though. It is the week before teachers go back to school, so even thinking I can realistically get it done that week is a hilarious stretch!!!! Oh well - it will happen one way or another!

I've been lurking - but I'm pretty sure we'll be joining the cruise as well! We're just waiting on a final approval of the vacation dates... then we'll be booking this cruise too

Sorry I havent posted much lately. Been working two jobs and haven't had a day off in 24 days. Only 5 more to go and then VERO!!!! And then only one job after.....financially not so good, but mentally I need the break!

Well, I didnt lose as much before the beach trip that I wanted, still got about 20lbs to go....but I am determined to lose it before the cruise. So the poor folks at Vero will have to deal with my chubby body in a swimsuit Plans are to really buckle down on working out when we get back, with only 2 mths to get fit! And the weekend after the cruise is my 20yr HS reunion, which I might go to if I look good LOL!
So much going on right now, I am so mentally ready for this cruise! Cannot wait....booked Palo brunch and will pick up our disney gift cards in a few weeks! It will be here before we know it, I know....

I know how you feel. I was complaining to a friend of mine how I can not figure out why I can't get serious on this diet. So I resolved, once again, to do what I can in 2 months. If I exercise, I exercise. If not, then that's fine too. If I could just eat healthy, then I would be doing good!

Yeah I skipped my 20th. I just went to that school one year my senior year so I figured I wasnt missed

What time is your brunch? I think mine (well Moms if we cant get 3 seatings) is at 10:30...or 10:15...10 ish!

our stateroom is #5639 and we are on the second dining. i read about the part of getting characters for the door.. if they are not yet taken, we would like to have Marie the Cat (from Aristocats) and Bolt (from Bolt)!
