hiya everyone!!
i just wanted to say:
I've just paid off my cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i know what you mean jenny, i'm ready for the weekend, it hasnt been a good week at work, things going wrong that have nothing to do with me, but i'm getting moaned at about it.....
sorry to hear about your hours being cut though.

stacy, you'd love it over here, there's tons of shaun the sheep stuff about!

i'm still undecided about nassau, atlantis looks cool but its a LOT of money for a waterpark and an aquarium. what else is there to do there?

YAY for paying off your cruise!! I paid mine off about a month ago, but with the Disney Visa, so we don't REALLY have to pay it off until November. I am so excited, I get to book my shore excurisons and Palo ressie in 13 days!!

The waterpark at Atlantis looks really cool, there are 2 different lazy rivers and a bunch of slides (on the one, you don't even have to get out of your tube to go on the slide, the river just feeds you into it -- how cool!!), a snorkeling lagoon, and 2 or 3 beaches. There are also lots of different marine habitats, with fish, dolphins, sting rays, etc. Tons of stuff to look at. I looked up the Comfort Suites in Euros, and it was 141.45. Not sure if that is good or bad, as i'm not a good currency translator!!

Jen, I didn't answer you this earlier...I have read that tons of people do the Comfort Suites just as a day thing and they are used to it. You just catch a cab, which is only a few dollars a person, and then go check in and out all at once. Then you walk across the street to Atlantis with a card that they gave you saying that you paid, and they give you your wristband there. I can't wait!! :cheer2:

it sounds really cool, we're off to typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach though so think we'll prob pass on it this time. it does look like a really good day out though!

mary, how do you get to book in 13 days? i cant make mine til the 26th june :(

We booked (or I booked, LOL) the Romantic Escape At Sea package. Part of the package is that you get to book your ressies at 105 days out, with the suite guests. Which is nice, because since we are first time cruisers, we wouldn't have been able to book them until July 11th! :wizard:

ooh, you'll have to let us know what its like, i was looking at that last time!

:rotfl: He looks like the sheep from the mattress commercial. I stand by what I said.

Congrats on paying off your cruise! Joe and I are planning to hit TL and BB too but we love our waterparks so one more is fine with me! I've never been to Atlantis so it's definitely something I want to check out.

Mary, I guess we all go together then since you'll be the one checking us in. The more people, the better. I'm a little wary of the locals there. :scared: I've never had to get a cab in Nassau. This should be interesting. :rotfl:

I can't book mine til 7/11! No worries though, I doubt they can sell out of the one I want.

yeah i'm thinking a cab could be a bit of an interesting experience in nassau!! :scared:

watching the last ever episode of ER at the mo, i havent watched it in about 2 or 3 years so it'll probably be a bit confusing trying to figure out who everyone is!! :rotfl:

i used to watch it all the time until all the good actors left, then i found all the new doctors annoying. this episode is good but its nothing out of the ordinary, its got 15 minutes left. wondering if anything exciting is going to happen, but i'm thinking its less and less likely now.........
hows work?

Almost over. :) I've kept busy today but I'm ready for it to be the weekend.

I always thought Noah Wylie was really cute. He was on ER wasn't he?

Noah Wiley was on ER. My Step-Mom used to watch it all the time. I occasionally watched it, but I didn't see the last one yet.

For the cab, I think you just walk out there and see what the cabbies sign say, and then pick one -- but negotiate the price before getting in!! We should be fine!! :goodvibes

hey i've just noticed we're on page 100!!!!!!!
cor we talk alot :rotfl:

I love that word, cor!! I think I will start using it!! :goodvibes

Blah, I hate being at work on a Friday!! Now we are leaving to go to our Friday Forum (big meeting) so that wastes a couple of hours at least....

i've got a kinda love/hate thing with friday afternoons, i love it because its nearly the weekend, but it normally drags like hell as i just want it to be 5pm all the time.

only 2 and a bit hours left time hometime. its really sunny outside, so i really dont want to be in here at the mo :(

Mary, we'll let the guys negotiate! :rotfl: Do you want to head over there together? It's probably easiest that way so we can all be there for check-in and get whatever we need.

You think we'll have to start a new thread by the time the cruise rolls around? :rotfl2:

Jen, we can go over together. I'm not sure if you get your wristband at the Comfort Suites or at Atlantis.

Our Friday Forum was REALLY REALLY boring today. The worst ever. And SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long, I thought the last chic would never quite herself!! And then they skipped the best part, the Question & Answer section!! BOO to that!! :headache:

We're going to lunch now, trying a new place. The Cubby Bear North, there is one by Wrigley Field, where the Cubs play, and this other one by my work. I'm excited, Go Cubs!! :woohoo:

Sounds good. :thumbsup2 We'll figure out details as the cruise gets closer. From what I know, CS gives you a voucher to get your wristband in Atlantis. I think you have to walk through the entire resort to get to it. They may have changed that though, who knows?

Have fun at lunch!

So I used the new online ADR system today! It's really easy to use. You just search for the restaurant you want. You can link it to your reservation or not if you're not staying at a WDW resort. You can search a range of dates, up to 5 days and plug in the time you want. If it's not available at the exact time you want, it will list other times within a 2 hour window. If there is no availability at all, the system will suggest other restaurants available for the day and time you want. You put your reservation into a cart and when you're ready, you can have the confirmation numbers emailed to you or you can just print them out. I liked it! It was simple.

The places my clients wanted were tough. They just booked their trip but are already past the 90 day mark to make their ADRs and wanted Chef Mickey's and CRT. I got them a ressie at CRT but about 2 1/2 hours after the time they wanted. Everything at Chef Mickey's was at the crack of dawn. Oh well. If they don't want the ADR I booked, they can always cancel. It was a 'just in case' move because nothing else was available!

So that is my review of the online ADR system. ;)

cool, thats good to know it works properly!

mary, oops, i scrolled past on the FE gift thread and saw the pic before i read the bit at the top to say dont read it!!! but they look amazing! :)

Jenny, is the online ADR for everyone's use or is this something that is strictly through your job? I'm just curious since I think I can try for my ADR on June 26th. I also got a reminder from my Outlook calendar today reminding me to make my 2010 DVC reservation on Tuesday. I have my fingers crossed for a one bedroom at Bay Lake Tower with a Magic Kingdom view.

I did some shopping at lunch for the FE. Boy oh boy is my tote full of bags from various stores! I am sure that it is not as much stuff as I think it is, and it will all probably end up taking much less space when I make the bags. I am just wondering if I carry all the FE bags on the Wonder if I run the risk of them taking out any of the food items (mostly candy) since it says you are not allowed to bring food onboard. I thought about shipping it to myself on the Wonder, but when I asked DCL for the shipping address they told me if the dogs hit on any food in the storage area they send the box back to the ship from address. I wonder if there are any people out there that were unable to bring their treat bags onboard.
