Overall we loved the Dream and had a great time....6 adults...highly recommend the 4 over 3 day ......it would be way to quick and rushed I think .
We were very lucky and were assigned 3 cabins together on deck 5 aft....all with extended balconies.....these were awesome and spoiled us from any regular balconies in the future they removed the partitions -- so we had our own 20' deck with lounge chairs ....awesome.
I went to RP to change our rotation and move our palo/Remy times around a bit...,, the Remy brunch is now always part of the Dream as well.$50... We will try it another time since we can't pass on the classic Palo brunch!
Cabanas lunch was good -- loved the lamb chops...they didn't reappear later on the cruise unfortunately
We did the welcome ship tour .... And wish we hadn't .... Very obvious places and info.....you should skip it ...even if it's your first cruise ...part of the fun is finding things yourself.
1st night in AP.....server was on auto pilot ...Luis...and asst server was so quiet, we didn't hear a word she said the entire cruise.....we were seated off to the side of seeing Crush and the tables that could see him didn't speak English --- so we kinda missed that experience....food was decent, but overall atmosphere was pretty loud and lots of screaming kids -- second seating.
We saw Golden Mickeys -- and loved the new tangled section....
We stayed on the ship in Nassau -- glad we did....it was the only time there was a short wait for AquaDuck...fun....
Mid ship detective agency -- loved it-- fun for adults!
Dinner in Palo -- great as always.....loved it.
Villains tonight -- hmm ...kinda a miss on this one.... Appreciate the try for something new....but kinda ended up corny .
We actually left Nassau and then the ship turned around and headed back there 2 hours later for apparently a medical emergency...we dropped off a family at the ambulance on the dock and then headed back out again....
Castaway -- had great weather -- serenity bay beautiful....
Dinner in Remy -- loved the service and ambiance --- food: we loved most courses -- couple flopped....we enjoyed the experience, but like many other posters, we don't have to repeat it...
We skipped the juggler comedian and just watched fireworks (pirate show poorly put together )
Day at sea -- we had free passes for rainforest, so we tried that ... Eh.... Kinda weird for us....but a beautiful space....
Brunch at Palo -- great with similar menu to magic/wonder -- no complaints...and so glad we did that huge brunch for 20 instead of the sit down Remy for 50+
Champagne tasting....fun...worthwhile...great info
Wine tasting -- redundant..only 4 tastings compared to magic 6 tastings....info was way to basic and they stack it directly after the champagne tasting....silly to me.
Dinner at RP.....just OK..... Nothing great....
Breakfast next morning --- portions are so tiny it's kinda funny ....the pancakes seemed like they were the lunch for a pretend doll house party ....so order a few things....
Overall thoughts...
Clayton ...our CD.....reallly needs to edit his pre and post show info speeches....we've cruised a lot and we felt like we were sitting there an eternity listening to info that he had said over and over again.....there is a better way to get it all across without feeling like you're in a classroom.
We considered eating in palo again on the last night simply to be away from the MDR....spoiled being away from the hussle&bussle....might do that next time....
Loved the around the ship entertainers in lobby and lounges and pool decks--- very professional sounding ..,very classy...very impressed.
Adult area poorly designed to keep kids out ---- that might be the best reason to do rainforest...ha......that and serenity bay....
Looking forward to the Fantasy and seeing how they worked things out a bit for the better......but the Dream was great.
