Well before I get the suitcases out of the garage DH reminded me that we needed to set off some bug bombs... I am fine with a creepy crawly here and there but a few weeks ago we have this guy knocking at our door!!!

So for 3 more hours I will just fold and get things ready...AKA watch some tv and play on here! LOL!

I would love to link up dinner ressies w/ anyone in our group. We have early dining. We are also home schoolers.

If anyone notices sticky stuff on my boys faces think nothing of it. I might put some packing tape in the car to use if necessary. I figure since it's clear the police won't notice.(I'm just kidding, I don't have room to pack it!)

We are pin trading addicts. We have are lanyards ready. We're hoping to go to DTD Friday.

He is your every day Tarantula pretty harmless but the fact that he had the balls to be at my front door is what got me. I thought they were slow moving but when DH was trying to get him to go he sure did run the other way FAST!
I had come home at about 10pm and turned the corner to get to the door and with arms full of stuff I caught him out of the corner of my eye! I quickly walked to the garage and went in that way! I told DH there was a spider the size of a small dog (which he didn't believe) so we went out to investigate! Needless to say he was taken back when he saw this guy! After all was done I told him it was time to move! When I told our friends here about him they all said they had never seen one before and some have been here over 20 years! Funny we have been here a year and there it was at my door!

Obssessive perusal of Weather channel.com and Google earth to check for hurricanes: Check.

You sound a lot like me. I'm glad I'm not the only one w/ flutterbies in my tumbly. I have a check list on the front door so I have to check the stuff off before I walk out. I'm so anxious I'm ready to leave now, except for the fact that it's after 4 so traffic would be insane. I've been obsessive about checking the weather.

hahah i have to tell you... i feel like there are so many things to worry about for this cruise.. my mom is going with us, so i called her the other day and "put her in charge of worrying about the weather" if it is something i need to be concerned with she will tell me, otherwise, i just dont care... hahahahahahaha

I can't wait to meet all you guys!!!

Ok, off to do some more packing.....although I'm waiting for my dress (it's being altered (shortened), and I pick it up tomorrow), and my husband's suit (he's wearing it.......and he's out of town......he really needs more suits.....) So, I am still waiting to pack the garment bag. But I still have other odds and ends to throw together.....

Hey everyone, hope everyone hasn't been going crazy like me about making sure I have packed everything, etc...I haven't been able to read all the posts, and hope I haven't missed anything reguarding the FE, we are going to try to upgrade at the port, but doubt we will be able too, depends on the price, if we do upgrade I'll let everyone know our new room number at the meet and greet..btw is it still 3pm deck 9 near ice cream stations?

Lizzy'sMom , I too have been watching the weather channel every 50 past the hour for the tropic updates, lets hope everything stays away from us.

Gabbie, if my dh David had seen your guest he would have had a heart attack, seriously, he is so scared of spiders. That thing was huge!

Well I hope everyone that is already on vacation is having a great time, those leaving soon, safe travels, we leave early tomorrow night, staying a couple nights in Daytona Beach, man I dread that long 11 hour drive.

Woah I just taught myself how touse the multi quote! LOL I really am avoiding packing now!



I know on the Pamama Canal cruise the group had their picture taken in front of the Black Pearl (or whatever boat it is at CC) the group was pretty large and I am fairly sure it was the shutters people who did it and not one of the group! I think its a great idea for a group pic! Although I won't be offering to get it together as I have firgured out I am either going to be down in the engine room or hanging off the back of the ship to get some rest!



I feel the same way! I am already nervous that the bags are not going to find their way to us in Tampa! I would be throwing up if we were flying in on Saturday! I guess that is one good thing about living in no mans land, we have limited flights so we had to fly out friday!





LOL Well ladies I am glad to know I am not the only one!!!




Ahh yes my lovely husband eating a frosty which combines the two things he is not to eat, milk and chocolate! And of course all his yummieness is going right to my tukis! Thanks HC!



Jan I had to reply to this!! I am laughing at how you worded it... TO see the grandchildren and their parents! Because as we all know once there are grandbabies involved the parents are just an afterthought! My mother in law told me they can not wait to see the kids again......... oh and of course us also!



I am SUCH a lister!!! It drives DH nuts! I have lists of lists but I will tell you I never leave things behind! I have the sheets ready to change on Thursday night and my little guy has become obsessed with vaccuum cleaning so he will do that for me while I am making up the beds! Ok so he is 4 and I have put him to work but its pay for this trip! Thank god for the central vac!

I took DS to school where I threatened him to NOT go kissing and hugging everyone he must stay well! We are not in the room 2 minutes and his girlfriends are all over him kissing and hugging him! He had a look like "I hope mommy doesnt kill me but it is them kissing me not me kissing them!" I just laughed! I should be doing trip stuff but I figured I would get a post in and I am watching Lauren, who just whiped off her dress and tossed it on the floor since it was getting in her way. She is climbing in and out of the toy box and giggeling at herself for her new skill! I am just waiting for the busted lip or blackend eye to happen right before our trip!
Ok I am off to get something done! My sister is on lunch right now I am am sure to avoid work another hour I will give her a ring!

I have them on the front door, my mirror upstairs and the kitchen counter, suitcases, etc. And lists do I have lists

I finally convinced the DH to bring a suit, up till a 1/2 hr ago it was " no way am I bringing a suit!"

Safe travels to all who are leaving soon!

Now I need to get my butt in gear and start to pack!

Hi everyone. Just met up with newlyweds Holly and Steven. We are at MNSSHP . They are teaching us the ropes on viewing areas for headless hoarseman!!

Disneyfanatics--I sent you a PM but don't know if ya got it. Sure we can dine with ya if ya want.

For all those who may forget something, like we did, running to Walmart Friday night when we drive to Port Canaveral.

So we left middle Georgia about 1:30 am last night. We drove straight through and got here around 7:15. We used online checkin so I went to that counter and our room was actually ready. Earliest we have ever gotten a room.

We're at Boardwalk Villas. Room 5027 which is completely on the end closest to the Swan and Dolphin. Great view of the canal going to Hollywood Studios. We have turned in our vouchers and gotten our annual passes and already been around Epcot.

There has been some thunder and lightening in the last hour or so but we're off to DTD for WP Express.

All they need is their KTTW card, that's what you guys will need too. I put my passport in the safe once we boarded.

Sally, Dave and I are having the same discussion - about a suit. Both DHs know that they'll be comfortable without wearing a suit as they've been on the Magic before.

Okay, I am getting a little tense here. I have packed DD stuff-except night clothes-the kid has to wear something to bed before we go. Have most of DH stuff packed. He is not wearing a suit. We settled on a dress shirt, tie and dress pants. He said he is on vacation and he blended in fine last time with it. I am afraid I may be overpacking, but, at least I will be well prepared. As for myself--hmm-I have piles of clothes all around our room-comfy, not comfy, wish I could lose the weight, and in my dreams pile. Hopefully I will get that done by Thursday afternoon, or I will be up late doing it.

Kim-too funny about the germs and handwashing. I have kept my DD out of school all this week to avoid anything going around. If she so much as has a sneeze, I am after her with the thermometer. If she is chilling with the TV, I am asking her if she is okay. We have gone through bottles of the hand sanitizers these past couple weeks and I have disowned my best friends just so we aren't exposed to their kids (who are in school)..

Safe travels to all over the next couple days. It has been fun chatting with all of you. Of course, if your dis name is different by your 'real' name, I may look at you like 'huh'? Example would be mine-I use hannah (DD's name) and my name is Karen---well you get the point. I am like Paige, when I saw Amy posting under Gabbies dis' name, I was like Hmmm, that must be a sister, but then I looked at the yahoo names and realized gabbie is amy-- Kileybeth is Kim... Lori, Jan, David, and Dennis are easy... Anyway, I am rambling to avoid doing more laundry and ironing.. Hope everyone that is already on vacation is enjoying their time.. And congrats to Holly and best wishes to David and Ian on their upcoming day!! Well off for now-of course, I will be lurking....
