I got the FEs for adults today.....yippee skippee....soooooo coooool (am I taunting ya? you betcha!!!)

we got bumped up from 6 to 4 and I was hoping for a 3......

In the same boat. lol We got bumped from 6 to 4 too. Was so happy to get the free upgrade but oh the cat 3 look amazing.

Paige-Thank you posting the warning. I will be very careful now in Cozumel as my DH is going on an excursion by himself (Tulum Ruins) to look at the dusty old rocks. I am doing the dolphin swim through Disney. I should be ok with transportation to the park since it's a Disney excursion? Is anyone else doing the dolphin swim at Chakanaab? Maybe we could use the buddy system. I was considering wandering around a little on my own but maybe that's not such a great idea.

I book this for my family through their web site. It came with transportation. We swim with the dolphins at 1pm and 2pm. Mom, me and son 10 and daughter 3 will watch.

So excited leave in four days. Thank you all for all your help. It is going to be so much fun. Did get a free up grade to Cat 4. Wishing everyone luck on getting the cabin you want. Also, hoping to connect with some boys. Son almost 11ys. Can't wait to be there and start decorating my door.

Everyone seems so VERY busy. I miss checking in more often.

We are packing and I am worrying the bags will be overweight. I love the packing cubes though. We were able to go with one less bag with the cubes. We can't pack like "normal" people ie spreading out FE gifts on the dining room table, covering beds with clothes. Our house is for sale and all of a sudden people are wanting to see it. Oh the stress of keeping it looking perfect and clutter free.

I can't wait to meet everyone. It will be easy to pick us out at the port. We are wearing our bride and groom shirts.

kileybeth thanks for posting about the group photo. You reminded me to pack my tripod. My dad's letting me borrow his slr camera so I wanted to try to get some good night photos. Man this thing is complicated, or at least for me.

We are running out of time!!!!!! I am getting super excited, now if I could just get as excited to finish up our packing

On my last Disney cruise in 2007, someone arranged with Shutters to get a group photo done. I remember it was on a swa day I think in the afternoon in front of the Mickey statue.

So many already en route or enjoying WDW. We have to hold the fort now. DH and I leave Pittsburgh 8 am Saturday and we hope we are at the Port by1:00. We have been making door magnets and each one is better than the one before. I am so grateful to everyone here that shares their talents and information. So many loose ends in the next few days and of course work has introduced new deadlines. Once I am at the airport, though, that is all behind me.

Well we are still here and doing relativity well. DH spent two weekends in a row in the hospital and I am beat because of it! I love my little ones but I needs a break and about 20 hours of sleep! That being said I am thinking of staying home and letting everyone else take the cruise! LOL
I have the FE gifts done and tomorrow once I drop DS off at school I am going to pack up the boxes that need to be shipped and get them out of my hair! I got the FE itself done this weekend and for someone who has never used a sewing machine I think I did rather well, who needs straight lines anyway right!?!
Most of our clothes are clean and I have things sorted as to cruise or stay here! One thing that stinks about living in AZ is that it is still hot so we are still in full time summer clothes so its been a pain to get things ready!
We are headed to Tampa first, seeing a few family members who have not met Lauren yet and to check on the in-laws home. Then down to Orlando to get my sister from the airport and then off to the port for what I am hoping will be a good nights sleep! I am going to try and keep the kids up while driving here and there so that once we get to the hotel they pass out!
As for upgrades! I am hoping we get there early and bump into a cat 3…. I am sure that with our luck this won’t happen but I am going to try and remain hopeful! I have to admit I have been a bit green with envy over those who have been bumped into higher cat’s! Its truly the brat in me right now! I had read a post on another cruise date that someone bumped from a cat 12 to a 6 and then when they got to port they went from the 6 to a 4 for 500.00…. When we called the CM so graciously offered us a cat 4 for 3000.00!!! We are already in a cat 4! So I am a little bitter but I promise I wont push anyone over the side of the boat LOL!!
I think that is about it for now!! Nathan is crazy right now over the cruise! I feel bad for his teacher and fellow classmates as I am sure the next three days he will be a huge pain in their tushies!! I have 3 days to get packed and get the house together! I have this strange habit of cleaning the house before we leave so we come back to it nice and clean I am thinking the packing might happen but the cleaning not so much!
OHHH and before I forget! If we run out of bracelets and someone needs a few, we have the ones that jonesing bought prior to asking me that are extra for our family so they can be given to someone else… If not we will gladly buy them for my scrapping projects!!!

So glad to hear someone who is in about the same plannning stages as me! I was starting to think everyone was all packed and sitting around eating bonbons and twiddling their thumbs waiting for Saturday to arrive! I am a nervous wreck about getting everything done.

I must clean before we go, it is part of the OCD!

It is still summer clothes weather here in godd ol' DE too so my kids are having fits because I won't give them their clothes back once I launder them!

Don't be too envious, I am on Deck 7 but in a Cat11, bumped up from a GTY Cat12, woopie! Actually I am okay with it but I had to stop reading all those 12 to 9's and then $99 upgrades at port to 7's! That was making me green too! I am hoping all of you guys in Cat4's get some pixie dust and get your Cat3's! That would be so awesome! You can invite us up for hors de'oves (how the heck do you spell that?) Don't get me wrong, I will still ask at Port but am not expecting any great offers.

Well, my worst fears were not realized and the DH will definitely be cruising with us!

He reported to the new job today for orientation and such. The commute wasn't to bad he said. It is just under 1.5 hrs each way. Today he had to go to the far side of DC, VA actually so that is a bit further then he will normally go. All went well and he is now an official FED GOV'T Employee. He will go to his office on Monday after we get off the boat!

His last day at WTCo. after 25 years is Thursday as he has his exit interview and I pick him up sans his company car and we head down the road to FL mid afternoon.

Huge changes around here. I just knew it would all happen at once. Life never lets you deal with just one thing at a time now does it?

My only other fear this close into travel is for everyones health. Everyone stay healthy you hear? I keep telling my kids, don't touch that! Wash your hands! Was that a cough I heard? Don't hug anybody! Yeah, bordering on paranoia here. I will settle down once we walk onto that ship!

Trying to plan for Saturday and was wondering what time everyone else is planning to arrive at Port?

We are staying at CIS on Friday night and figure that the kiddos will be up at the crack of dawn on Saturday.

hmmmm I'm thinking we'll skip the RI shuttle and head over to the port early! Looks like half the DIS is going to try and book Palo and/or upgrade.

I too am glad I'm not the only one not packed yet! I'm starting to go a bit nuts... I've still got to finish my FE gifts, haven't even started my FE yet (I did buy the material!), finish laundry, pack, etc. Things are as crazy as ever and I am SO looking forward to the relaxation of the boat... and NO cell phone! School is in full swing, my piano accompanist job is getting more intense, I still have my kid that I babysit (who graces me with her presence every morning between 4 & 5 am) daily, as well as a part time job and am in charge of 2 activities a week for our young single adult program at church! This trip is the only thing helping me keep my sanity... I keep telling myself... in just ___ (# of days) I'll be on my ship and carefree. I have told everyone my plans are to work on my tan and eat as much as I can! Dream big, right! See y'all in 4 days!

Do you live in PA? We drive through Pittsburgh frequently on our way to Morgantown to visit our precious grandchildren and their parents.
