So we just got on teh website and we were booked for a 9 and got a 6!! we are soo very excited!

I am soo excited!

WOOHOOO! we wanted a balcony but werent sure we would get one! we used the "free" dvc cruise voucher, so we didnt get much sayi n what we did, but figured when assignments were made we would see what happened.. woohoo!

I keep getting different reports for the Western Caribbean rotation since the menus changed....anybody have any info if this is correct? Has Master Chef been replaced with GOlden Mickey's??

I believe the Disney server may have flagged me due to the fact that i have logged in soooooo many times today looking for my room assignment...lol........I may give it up for today and just hope for the best tomorrow....(Yea right)

We got our room assignments and my assesments last night seem to be dead on!

We had 2 Cat12's linked with 3 persons in each room. This absolutely worked to our advantage I think.

We are on DECK 7!!!!! Right near that little secret Deck!

While it is true we are still inside staterooms? I am beyond thrilled!

And while we are Cat11, only one level up, I am still thrilled as our cabins are right next to one another, whew! I really thought my teenagers might be living it up on a completely different deck (not really it was just fun to say and they really did want to feel "on their own" Well, having to go out to the hall and go in the next door is good for this Mom.

Then the lack of a split bath comes up, and I gotta tell you I kept trying to get excited for that but it seemed like more rooms to take up my little bit of square footage!

And being a large family (who normally books and shares one suite with one bath?), with only 3 of us in each cabin (read that 2 bathrooms!!) ? I think we will be just fine!

Thank You Disney God's! You are my friends again!

Oh and our cabin #'s are 7127 and 7129. Only the one got room reviews but they were all excellent and people even rebook this room on purpose!

No need to upgrade now either, more $$$ in my pocket!! woo-hoo!! We are goin' on our 1st Disney Cruise!!!!

Please, Please do not come on and burst my bubble by telling me they can still move us GTY's around up until sail time, I just need to bask in this for tonight!

That is AWESOME Rosemary! I would have liked connecting but I am so happy to just be close to the teens, we'll be fine!

You guys just have ONE FE to hang is that correct? I notice you only posted one stateroom number. We have TWO cabins and ar just doing ONE FE. ust making sure I have it down right in my notes. or are you cruisign with another family that has a FE? Sorry to be so confused!

I'd rather have a cat 11 on a higher deck, but thats what I get for having to get a cat 12 gty. I guess I should be happy but I'm not. A cat 12 gty was all I could afford at the the I booked because of Dhs job layoffs, etc, now I called to check on an upgrade to cat 9 and they want $900 more...as if! Well I'm gonna go pout for awhile, I'm sure I'll be happy later, but having booked a cat 12 in the past and getting upgraded to a cat 9, I guess I had my hopes up.

Or maybe you can still upgrade at PORT for a lot less then that silly $900 number ya know?

sorry you are bummed! Just so you know I have read some glowing reports regarding deck 2 rooms....so do not get down and kileybeth is right you may still be able to upgrade for much less than $900 here is hoping pixie dust is coming your way!!!

Thanks, yes, I should be happy, how lucky are we to be going on a wonderful Disney cruise others dream about, our first cruise was Disney, then we did 3 RCCL, then last Oct Carnival Glory, you get what you pay for in my book, we had such a better time on Disney. Although RCCL was good, we'd never sail Carnival again although for what we paid for an 12gty, we could have had a suite on carnival. They give us a military discount that Disney doesn't, DH served his time and after Sep 11, 2001, he even got stop loss, making us stay much longer then his term, but since he is no longer active only carnival gives us discounts. I'd much rather be on a Disney cruise, and I will check at the port. Thanks for the encouragement and congrats on your upgrade as well!

Paige, thanks I'm already cheering up. At least it wasn't a cat 12...lol, I do have a split bath... I didn't pay for a window, but it would have been nice. I've never had an inside before, it can't be all bad, again we will be on the magic!
