9/18/10 Transatlanic Thread for non Pirate fans

I just wanted to be part of a group for this very special voyage and I am so sick and tired of pirates I want nothing to do with them. So I was thinking about starting this thread for those who might feel like me. I have nothing agenst the others, just want something different.

So I guess with over 40 views now and still no one wants to join I guess I will be on my own for this cruise. I will hold out some hope that a few of you on this cruise will join me.

Hey, I'm going on this cruise; and in the words of Jerry Seinfeld, "I don't wanna be a pirate." goofprincess and I were on the Western Caribbean Double Dip at Halloween and she mentioned there was another thread like this. Glad to see the boat won't be totally commandeered by looters on the high seas.

Can I play both sides of the fence on this one? My DD is 6 and was a pirate for Halloween.....we did the Land/Sea last Feb and she became obsessed the POC...not like most girls who have crush on Johnny Depp, but wanting to BE a pirate. She always has been a big fan of Peter Pan too, so not surprised there.

We are heading over to Barcelona a few days early, so we will definitely have the European vibe going before we sail. I figure to hold off the pirate action until we at least get half way across the Atlantic....but CC and Pirates kinda have to go together....with a 6 year old anyway.

It will be a blast and a great trip, whatever the theme.

Of course you can play both sides. I started this because I am sick and tired of the pirate theme. It just seems to me everone thinks that all things DCL has to be pirate themed. Welcome. Looking forward to geting to know you better.

I guess everyone but two others want to be party of the other thread. That is cool. I really thought that more people would join in on this one. I guess it shows how wrong I am. Oh well, I guess I will enjoy this trip on my own. Maybe this will change. I hope it does.
