9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

So I feel like I laid some ground work in planning this weekend.

I have all the pages in my booklet done except for EPCOT and MK Day 2. I am pretty pleased with what I have done... and did try to think about FP runners and Luke watching.

I went through my clothes and am set. I know the kids are fine now too.

I printed our packing list... and hope to make some revising and a shopping list of what I need to buy.

For the countdown:

23 Days till Disney
13 student school days
14 days for teachers

I however am off a day this week (Eye Dr. Emily) and one day next week, so I only have 12 more work days.

We had a fun day today ... the girls, DH and I hit Kings Island's waterpark! It was fun to just have the big kids and get to be with them.

Have a fantastic Memorial Day!

After my best intentions, I did not get much done this weekend:rolleyes1 I hope you are right and the do offer more Fantasmics at the end of June!! Yay for 12 more school days!!:cool1: The waterpark sounds so fun! How nice that just you and DH got to go with the girls!:goodvibes

We were sitting in the 4th or 5th row and I had done a lot of reading on the best ways to get good pics from that show.

I figured Laura needed a little eye candy to with their Disney dreams today! :cool1:

Those pictures were truly incredible! :worship:
You're like me, Laura -- when DH wants to see/do something at Disney, I always make sure we fit it in -- whatever it takes to keep them happy and go back! ;)

This is exactly why we are going back to the meat-fest that is called Ohana..........:rotfl:

Laura---You all will love the Nemo show---I cried the first time I saw it...too sweet for words!!!! I heart Nemo!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Annette--congrats on your two handsome gentlemen!!! I hope you are doing well my dear, and I hope EVERYONE in your household is adjusting just as well!!! Keep us updated!

Double Fantasmics are awesome... I hope you get them on the night you chose!

Don't forget your glow sticks/necklaces!! :thumbsup2

Kathy

From what I have read they are just adding a second one on the nights scheduled. I will keep watching.

We have some fun glow in the dark things... I need to round them up!

Hooray for 12 kid days!:yay: It will be great to get the year finished so you can get your DIS on!!!

I am so depressed thinking that I have to go back to work.. this three day weekend has been nice!

I am looking forward to seeing your planning for touring :thumbsup2 And I love your latest favorite "looking forward to's" Monster's Inc was a fun one for us, too, and we have never seen Fantasmic. Not sure if we will get to this time, either, but we'll see! Your two weeks sound like they will go in a flash! :goodvibes

I cannot believe we are in the teens this week!

Your countdown is getting smaller and smaller! :goodvibes

The waterpark sounds like a lot of fun! Have a great Memorial Day today -- we are just taking it easy around the house so I am hoping to get some planning done.

We went waterparking again today. They have decided that they like the waterpark better than the park.

I'm so glad you posted about the extra F! shows. I know we won't make the 10:30 showing, but hopefully it will draw some guests from OUR 9:00 show.

Looks like you got quite a bit of planning accomplished this weekend.:thumbsup2 How big is your booklet? I've become a tad obsessed with making sure I have the "right" stuff in mine. Do you print much of TGM's info? I have the least crowded park pages and the fireworks seating pages and that's it for now. Should I print more stuff?

I have some TGM hints and stuff in the book. I have the Least crowded stuff too. I printed some Touring plans stuff. Now that my printer is printing color again... I will get back at it!

Here are a few from our Jan trip. The boys LOVED that show! I was so bummed that we had to miss it in August!

Thanks so much for sharing... they are great. Hannah watched it via YouTube today after seeing the pics.

Excellent pictures, MOP! Nemo is a great show, and her kids will surely enjoy it. And sitting down in a cool building is always a nice thing, too!

I hope all works wonderfully well for Fantasmic. I hope they add some shows to our week, too, even though we have the Hollywood and Vine dinner package booked. It would just be nice for it not to be so, so, so packed for people trying to watch the show.

I am in the same boat MeMom... some people can hopefully stay later..

I agree, those were great pictures! Did you sneak up on stage to take them?
We loved Finding Nemo and are hoping to see it again this year!:goodvibes ALL of you will love it!

It is moving to must do...

It was a treat! Great pics!

On Saturday he was talking Disney Vacation Club-- I am the one that "nos" to that....

Today we went with my sister in law and it was just the girls again. It was a treat... and they just want to stay forever.....they would love the Disney waterparks- someday!

Those pictures were truly incredible! :worship:

That dropped off DH radar... not sure exactly why?

Three weeks from today we will be at WDW!

Today we are looking forward to

The Fountains at EPCOT!

It really is the simple things sometimes!!!! :) We were at KI yesterday, and we went over to Boomerang Bay, and I must say that when I saw that one fountain in the front, I thought about how much I thought your girls probably enjoy that one! ;)

We were there yesterday...although that fountain makes me mad... Em got ran down by a teenager last year there...

Brooklynn played here last year. By the time she was done her diaper was hanging down to her ankles!!!

Those diapers sure expand....

Woo hoo for three weeks!!!

It can't come soon enough. I am now sure I am more excited to be done with school than go to Disney!

I can't believe we were both there!!! Were you at the waterpark, or just the main park? I don't blame you for wanting to be DONE!!!! You guys have to go SO late this year!!!! You poor thing!

Bags

Like many of my DIS friends I would like this bag

disney3-18-09beginningHSAK342.jpg

But yesterday I saw one that I need...

We were sitting at the waterpark at Kings Island, and their was a big red WDW bag with a zipper. It is made of the thick plastic grocery reusable material that the COSTCO bags are made of. It would be a great pull bag for me, since it has a zipper and holds a lot! I sure hope I find it, and had I had my camera I would have snapped a picture of someone elses bag- crazy right?

I also forgot to share this picture:

We need to get this boy his own set of ears...

Have a great night!

Awww! Luke needs some "boy" ears!! (Like he really knows the difference!) :lmao: He's getting so big!!

Kathy

What an adorable picture! But yeah...you need to get him some "boy" ears. LOL

Good luck on the bag hunt. Taking pictures of someone else's bag? Not crazy at all, especially in the name of market research.:thumbsup2

Aww, yep. A trip to the Chapeau place is definitely in order. But just wait until he's about 2 and wants to play dress up with the girls' princess dresses. Then you'll get some great pics! I know we have.:rotfl:

We love the fountains at Epcot. It is always a must do when we are there.

Luke looks so cute in those ears, but he def. needs a pair that aren't pink. ;)

Luke definitely needs his own ears.....but how cute is he!!!! ;)

I hope you find that bag!

Today we are looking forward to the Walt Disney World Railroad.

(No pics again)

I am looking forward to not riding it while waiting with Emily as my DH and Hannah ride the big rides!

Ha Ha! My oldest DS wore DD's pink Mickey ears until he was almost 4. Now the baby has been seen in them...to DD, everyone looks better in pink. And there's only one of her - I think Luke may be in for some pink in his future with two big sisters, even if he gets his own mouse ears.

I love the Mickey ice cream bag! Where did you see that? I know your pain - I've just been trying to find the right bag to get me through the summer (the baby doesn't need quite as many things now, and I needed something smaller than the diaper bag). Finally found one this weekend (three trips to return not-quite-right bags later...). Good luck!
