Hello,
I'm a disabled Navy Vet; 9/11/2001 happened my senior year of high school and a few of my friends signed up as soon as we graduated so they could go help the cause. I took my college free ride scholarship and then signed up.
The Army soldiers had it much harder than I did and I still started slipping after a while.
I just wanted to take a minute this morning to say to everyone who served during and signed up after 9/11: Thank you. My heart aches when I think about the memories you must carry. <3
