It was a horrible day. And I recall how quiet it was for days after with no planes flying. A day that changed us all forever.

It's a day that's always a part of our lives now- just hovering at the back of our thoughts, until something brings it right to the forefront again- I never stop sending prayers to those families directly involved...and pray something like this never happens again.

I got off work at midnight this morning and was still wide awake. I decided to take the hour drive to Brooklyn to see the Tribute In Lights that they have been doing every year since the attack. It was breath taking to say the least..
