9/10 DCA WOC Party! 1st HOJO stay, too...

Getting excited. Didn't expect to be back near Disney again this soon, but who could turn down this offer! My DM won the 4 party passes for the WOC on September 10th. Of course she would have never known about it if it wasn't for me. We were lucky enough to go to WDW back in October (DD owns a timeshare) OKW- so cool. Then DD and I took grandkids to DL in May.
I decided to get a room at HOJO since I've heard good things about it, and we can just walk over. Didn't want to have to drive back to my mom's after DCA after party-who knows how late it may be.
I love these kind of surprise trips!
Wonder how many DISers won tickets between Coke and Verizon? Hear that 6000 invites were given out. Wow that sounds like alot of people. Wonder how many are in attendance at any average WOC showing?

We won tickets for the WOC and will be staying at the Hojo the night of the 10th as well (I still need to call to make reservations on Monday).

It looks like in about 2 weeks we'll be getting an email with details!

I've been getting excited, and I talked to my mom in Ca yesterday, and she says she is sure that this would be too hard for her to go to because of her health. I'm now worried that we may not be able to use the tickets without her! Waiting to see what they look like when she gets them. I understand the rule and the "Non-transferable", and I'm not trying to cheat (or get this closed), 3 of us would be going anyways as her guest.
So upsetting. I want to cry, I already told my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter we were going.

My DM forwarded me the email she got after winning, and it said the tickets, or prize, would be in the mail at the end of the contest. (2-3 weeks) and that there was nothing else to do. Did yours say this or that they would email you again? Huh...
Looked at it again, it doesn't say in the mail, just that you will receive your prize in 2-3 weeks. My bad.
