9:00-1:00? Can this be done in AK???

We will be in Animal Kingdom on 12/14. We have a PS at 8:00 for the breakfast at AK. We figured we will be done by or close to 9:00 right when the park opens.

We only want to be there until 1:00 because we want to head back to our resort for some rest as we will be going to MVMCP that evening

We would like to do/see in Animal Kingdom

Safari
Festival of the Lion King
It's Tough to be a Bug
Dinosaur
Tarzan Rocks

I am thinking if we hit the first showing of the FoLK we will be able to see Tarzan Rocks before we leave the park.
Can this be done in 4 hours?
I know the FoLK and Tarzan Rocks will take up at least 30 mins each, probably more if you count standing in line!

Which leads me to my next question, in June we got in line for the Lion King about 30 mins before showing. It was a sold out show!! Are we going to have to stand in line as early since it is December (it is a Sunday though). If we got to the show about 15 mins beforehand would we still get a decent seat?

I would put Tarzan at the bottom of the list and head for the other first. My suggestion is:
1) K Safari right off the bat
2) Head over to the Festival of the Lion King for the next show
3) Than off to Tough to be Bug
4) Dino
and than if there is time 5) Tarzan.

This is almost the same order we took but never did (or worried about Tarzan). We are going back this weekend but do want to see Tarzan this time.

Thanks! Last June we didn't get into Tarzan until the last few minutes & there were not many seats left so we left since we couldn't see that well.
We never got back to AK & never saw Tarzan Rocks so we would really like to see it this time around.

Don't know if it will be the same show time but I saw Tarzan plays at 10:45 & 12:00 (others too but after the time I want to leave) I figured we can catch the 12:00 showing of that one.

So we should be able to do the other stuff before the 12:00 showing of Tarzan??

What we usually do is get fast passes for the safari and then catch the first showing of the Lion King (9:45?). After that show we walk onto the safari. At this point if you can make it to the 10:45 Tarzan show go ahead and do that. Try to grab a fastpass for Dinosaur or Bug on the way. If you can't make the 10:45 Tarzan show then you may want to grab a fastpass for either Dinosaur or Tough to be a Bug and then do the other. After that you can either use your fastpass or catch the 12:00 Tarzan show, depending on the time. If you go right to the Tarzan show you can use your fastpass after Tarzan. Rumor has it they will still allow you to use a fastpass even if you miss your time by a little...........but you didn't hear that from me .

You could do the safari first, but you'd probably miss the first Lion King show. Maybe you could do Bug or Dinosaur and then catch the 10:45 Lion King show, depending on what the lines are like. From there you could do whichever you didn't do, or get a fastpass for it, and catch Tarzan.

You should be able to make it work.

I can not believe I did not think of that.
I will have DH run up & get FPs for the safari. My son & I will go down to Lion King for the first showing. Isn't there usually characters near there anyway?? We will probably stop and say hi to a few characters before heading off to Lion King.
