8X8 Albums

I scrapbook in 12X12 albums, but for the Disney trip (in June - yes, I'm way behind!) I promised the kids I'd do an album for each of them with themselves & the characters and autographs. Anyway, I usually wallpaper when I scrapbook and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells 8X8 paper or am I going to have to get 8.5X11 and cut it down???

i have been doing an 8x8 album and i just buy 12 x 12 paper and cut it down. that way i have extra paper to use for journaling blocks, mats, or whatever i need...

there is an awesome mini mag out by simple scrapbooks...it is all on gift/small albums (8x8). i got mine at walmart, i have seen them at michaels as well. but, there is a section that has a disney album in there. it is so simple!!! i want to do an album like that...i have so many trips to scrap and i am so behind!!! i think that is perfect to just scrap the best pics from the trip. currently trying to find the paper to put in it right now!!!

I'll have to check that out @ Walmart next time I'm there. The kids both picked out 8X8 albums (Tinkerbell for my dd and Mickey for my ds) - therefore my question. When we took ds years ago, I only bought CM albums, so his character pic/autograph album was 5X7. Plus, back then I didn't wallpaper so it wasn't really an issue!
Thanks for the response! I just can't believe with all the 8X8 albums, some company hasn't introduced 8X8 paper yet?!?!

There are a few companies that make 8x8 paper. I have a pad of paper that has Disney colors in it - it's by Hot of The Press. Here is the description:

I think Michaels or AC Moore sell 8x8 card stock too.. that is becoming the hot new size !! Michelle

Thank you Yazlow & BigSis1970!! Great to know that there are 8X8 sheets - and even better to know they come in Disney colors. I'll be going to AC Moore and/or Michaels to check that out!

Joann's also sells 8x8 cardstock, and they have the Die Cuts with A View 8x8 kits themed for travel, baby, birthday, love, that have patterned paper, cardstock & stickers inside.

8x8 disney scrapboking paper, actually more than just paper!!! I used these for my ABC album!!

My JoAnn's carries 8x8 cardstock in several different colored mulit-packs (brights, pastels, jewel, etc). And I think I saw "The Slab" (all patterned papers...several themes available) in 8x8 at Michaels, maybe?

Personally, for autograph albums I prefer the 6x6 'cause it wastes less paper. I cut a 12x12 into 4 sheets of 6x6 (as I also "wallpaper"). When I cut down either size for 8x8, I find I never can find enough ways to use all the scraps....
