8am opening at MK . . . WWYD different than an average day?

When MK opens during busy times an hour early, how do you change your plan? I would hope that means a quiet hour in the park since most people struggle to make rope drop. I'm not racing to 7D or any of the headliners. So how do you make the most of that hour? (This is not EMH. I'm talking about Thanksgiving week).

Whatever attractions you have in your plans, check them and go to the most popular ones first. That first hour is golden and you can knock out a lot of things, then when everyone is starting to arrive between 9 and 11 you'll be doing the least popular attractions with little wait
If you are not doing any attractions then you'll get a quiet park to walk around, maybe take some pictures and appreciate the details

I plan exactly like I do for a 9:00 am opening.

Last trip we were there before park opening for an ADR. We really enjoyed strolling through AL and FL while everyone else raced to FL. It was EMPTY and we walked on several attractions where we were the only people.

So when they have an 8am opening for regular hours, do they treat it like EMH with only certain attractions open? Or does the whole park open as if it were 9am?
