the advertising is no longer on top of the forum threads.
you will still see the promo on the website.
you do not have to have a package booked to get the free w & w tickets.
some poster mentioned that but this is a different promo for the 7 day 2 park tix w/wet and wild thrown in.


there are many UO employees that read the threads.
don't you think they would have chimed in and given a heads up if the tickets would not be valid in 2009?

I've had good success calling Guest services at Universal Parks and asking for Guest Services at the Parks!!!

we were able to upgrade the tixs that were sold @ AAA @ the gate, along with an additional discount that was running @ the time for BOGO year free for non-residents of FL

ps the AAA tix (w/o wet &wild) are still $79 @ our regional store

yes they are.

i have done that before.
i finally caved and bought the ap 2 years ago when they had the BOGO free.
prior to that, i would buy the special promo passes.

2 years ago february, i had the multi day pass bought on line.
i went to UO in october and upgraded at guest services for the bogo ap.
just paid the difference.

you can book the hotel with the ap code.
just show your ap sometime while you are a guest at the hotel to keep the ap rate. you don't have to get the ap prior to checking in.

there is also a note on the UO website mentioning that.

that is one of the pluses of working with universal.
you can do the upgrade on line or at the parks.

i'm new here but have been lurking for the past few weeks-we are going to universal in october-i had already purchased my tickets and printed them at home-and then i saw the wet n wild deal
so i called customer service and asked them if i could change my 89.99 universal 2 park tickets to include wet n wild
they changed my tickets for me without any hesitation-just said that i would have to go to the ticket kiosk when i got there and have my confirmation #(from my original order) and my credit card and that it would give me the new tickets

Since we purchased the Universal tickets that include Wet and Wild we are thinking about going there Christmas day.

Has anyone been to Wet and wild Christmas Day and if so, how crowded was it?

Any other Wet and Wild experiences would also be appreciated.

I would call and ask what ticket specials are available and if they don't mention the website special, I would tell them about it and ask if that's available.
