80z All Stars??

On the Saturday & Sunday we will be at DL, one of the Entertainment Events is :

Tomorrowland Terrace Presents the 80z All Stars

What is this??? I am trying to plan the Events we will be going to and would like to know if our family would be interested in this.

Thanks!! (I looked on the Disneyland website and it doesn't have any information that I can see.)

Basically they are an 80's tribute band that play various hits. Here's a picture:

Are they as big of a hoot as the video on their webpage shows?? I cracked up laughing. I can totally see DH and I jamming (and our 12 year old son looking the other way). We are huge 80's fans!! (I have "Cars" by Gary Numan as my cell phone ringtone, LOL).

I soo hope they will be there when we are (in May). My DH saw them practically evey weekend down in San Diego!! Waiting for them to plan their May tour month.

On Saturday evenings is Jump, Jive, Boogie Swing Party at the Plaza Gardens Stage which is fun to watch as some people dress in zoot suits.

Every Saturday and Sunday at Tomorrowland Terrace is a band in the evening.
Sunday it was Sensation. These only appear on the weekend schedules that are given to guests. The music there varies from hip hop and rock to pop.

Downtown Disney sometimes has interesting bands performing.

They are fun, I like to walk by and sing along with the music. My girls give me funny looks but if we stop by the Terrace the run out and dance with me.

Ah! I've seen them playing at TT before & I always commented on their funny hats/wigs. According to me, they're the band that wears the funny hats. I especially love the bass player's (not shown in the pic above) bc it looks like one of those collapsable containers and such that kitchen stores sell now. I guess it's actually supposed to be a Devo hat, but I've never heard of them and didn't know that the red hat was their signature until I saw a pic of them. Anyways, whenever I see a red collapsable container, I pretend to put it on my head and be the bass player!
