80's toys!

I had so many. I remember getting the Brooke Shields Barbie doll for Christmas in 1983. I also had the Barbie Dreamhouse, Barbie and the Rockers dolls,....Oh the memories!!! :goodvibes

Wow, there are a ton of toys listed there. :thumbsup2

I'll tell you one thing I didn't have but wish I had, Buck Rogers Action figures!! I remember that show and Buck Rogers was a hottie!! :teeth:

I had a Baby Heather but her head broke and I sold her at a garage sale! I wish I had kept her and tried to fix her. She was a great doll. Now I'm searching for one for my DD4. If anyone has one and wants to sell her you would make me one happy Dis'er!

Oh, jeez, how old am I.....I bought sooo many of these toys for my kids...I got married in the early 80's..

let's see
barbie and the rockers
every he-man figure ever
every star wars guy
what must have been every gi joe figurine or anything remotely associated
cabbage patch doll
glow worm
teddy ruxpin
barbie's dream house (it had an elevator!!)
barbie corvette

and sooo many more

Rubik's Cube...and recently bought another one for my son...and he solved it! Show off!

Does anyone remember the teddy ruxpin commercials??

There are so many! The one's that popped out first was Alphie and Baby Alive. I messed up my Baby Alive when I tried to feed her cheese. Clogged her right up. :teeth:

Me too :lmao: I remember standing in line for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Whoa--I had forgotten all about Freaky Freezies! I loved those!

I haven't been all through the list, but between my brother and me, we had a TON of toys. I distinctly remember us jamming as many Star Wars figures as we could into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and then throwing it across the room to simulate crashes and to see how many figures flew out. It's a wonder our parents continued to buy us toys at all!

Oh, and I still remember my first Cabbage Patch Kid's name: Ashley Marie. Actually, she came with a really stupid name that I don't remember, but my mom and I filled out the necessary paperwork to get her a new birth certificate and new name. :rotfl: My second CPK was cooler, though, because it was a Cardinals CPK. Had the full uniform and everything. I actually think he's still lurking in my parents' basement somewhere.

Dinah Mite
Action Jackson's female counterpart. Has several points of articulation and was the hottest toy from the 80s (in my opinion). She had long, blonde hair, a purple jumpsuit, and a white peace belt.

I loved that doll. I never knew it was from Action Jackson.

Volton
Castle of Lions
Robeast
Thudercats
Robotech

I remember my first Cabbage Patch Kid's name too. His name was Marty Art. I kept the name he came with and I remember being disappointed that I got a boy doll, but this was at the time when you got what was available.

Wow! What a blast from the past :)

Some of the toys I had in the 80's were....

-Speak N Spell
-Snoopy Snow Cone Maker
-Atari
-Cooties (Oh man! I loved Cooties!)
-Rubix Cube
-Care Bears
