800 loop to be closed for power upgrade

After losing power this past Friday and Saturday a Disney worker told us they will be closing the 800 loop in about a month to upgrade the power service. The main outages were from site #'s 838 to 848. I do not see them doing this before July 4th weekend . So if you have a choice I would recommend avoiding these sites if possible.

Thats horrible, thats where we always stay when we go and we will be there in three weeks. I guess Ill have to try and find another loop to stay in.

I know we love these sites ...But I can say that we have never had a bad site at the Fort.

They were working on six sites (three at a time) while we were there this past week. I don't think they'll close the loop... Just three sites at a time.

I spoke with the front desk yesterday and they informed me that the electrical issue has been taking care of. Glad we didnt have to try and request another loop.

Good Luck...We received our info from the duty manager and the head of engineering. They moved one unit to another loop and asked the front desk not to rent to site ...The front desk does not have a clue, they moved somebody in 2 hours latter .

Oh that's good news I'll be there in 3 days for a quick trip and I always request certain sites on the 800 loop, but just incase I picked a few on the 900 loop because of this post.
