80 minute international phone call, just to apply code to existing booking!!!!

After a 80 minutes phone call from Austalia just to apply the ZCL code.
Heres what happened.
I rang to apply ZCL code this morning, to be told it won't accept the code for my booking. I ask why, so I am put on hold while she goes to find out why. 5 minutes later she comes back to say "the code is only for a max of 10 nights (I didn't read this anywhere was I blind?} and my booking is for 11 nights". So I ask if I could change my booking to 10 nights with the passes and dining on it and apply the code, and make a new room only reservation for the last night, as we will be leaving early that morning anyway (don't need passes or dining}. Alls well, she can do this, she changed the first booking to 10 nights, and the code accepts. But then starts having trouble with the new booking for 1 night. The computor won't accept my address details, then not my ph No, then she says I will just put you on hold for a minute and go see why this won't work. So..........I WAIT, and WAIT, and WAIT, 15 minutes later still no-one there. I didn't want to hang up becasue I knew I wouldn't get the same girl, then I would have to start all over again, so I WAIT and WAIT, remember this is an international call from Australia. But finally I hang up. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
So, then I ring again and a guy answers the phone, I tell him what just happened and he then tries to apply the code to my booking, and it won't work. AGAIN I tell him why, and what I had already tried to do, and no my old 11 night reservation still exists. So, back to the begining, all over again, and this time it took 40 minutes to adjust my booking just to apply a code. I am sure what I saved in $$$$ it has just cost me all that in a phone call. And I don't even know how much I saved because I couldn't understand the guy {who was Asian} so when he read out my new figures I wasn't sure what one of the numbers were. I think it was about $500 - $600. WHO KNOWS !!!! What a marathon to add a code. :furious: :furious: :furious:
Did anybody see anywhere that is is for a maxuim of 10 night.?????? Where???

I didn't see the restriction mentioned anywhere, but did get the same story when I tried to apply it to our 16-nt booking. She then priced it for me with two separate reservations, like you (10 on the pkg, 6 room-only), though I didn't end up booking it. (We have an AP and I figured that discount would be better--and for us, it was.)

I am sooooo glad we can use the toll free number from Canada! Yes, some days it's a loooong wait.

I have, in the past said, "this is an international call, can you either hurry or call me back with the info?" Haven't had to try it with Disney, but others have responded to that...

Thank God and Vonage for free calling to a lot of places. I have been on hold so many times with Disney and the Airlines that I love my toll free calling to anywhere in the US, Canada and a good piece of Europe....

Now if I could just think of some European numbers to call....
