8 Passenger Van

Looking for an 8 passenger Van for the end of July - having a hard time finding one on site at MCO - Specialty Van and Car Rental offsite still has availability but I have no expereince with them - looking for anyone that may have used this co in the past or who may have any other advice - Thanks

Alamo has full sized vans at MCO.

We rented a minivan from National at MCO early last month. We used Emerald Reserve and went right out to the minivan aisle to select our car. They had numerous 8 passenger Astro Vans as well as Montanas that had 8 passenger seating in them. We selected an 8 passenger Montana with a rear seat that folded flat into the floor for our luggage. It worked great and there was no additional charge..

Yes, but if you fold the back seat flat you can't get 8 people in the van. We did a Girl Scout trip with one full size and one mini van and if we had not had the full size we would NEVER have made it and we only had 12 people.

Unfortunatley, having rented full size vans for the Girl Scouts I can tell you that they don't come cheap and most discounts are not good for them.

I used specialty van rental in April and got a full size van for less than $200 a week. The service was great, the bus transportation was fine and I would highly recommend them.

Well, that depends on how (and where) you seat the 8 people.. Just kidding... We didn't have 8 but needed a lot of luggage space to and from the airport and then room for friends when we were there, so it worked out for us...
