8 Days, who's counting we are!!!!

After a catastrophic second half of the year - Sept wife walked out on us (myself and DD18, DS 16 & DS12) and on 30/11 was finally made redundant after 30 years, we are now about to live our dream , for years we have wanted to be at Disney over Christmas and soon we will be.
One quick question we have booked MVMCP for 12/14 but was unable to book a PS at Liberty tavern we currently have one for Tony's in toontown . Anybody know what the food is like there and also what are the chances of getting a cancellation for Liberty when we get
there? :jumping4:

Have a great time. You all deserve it. I'll be there next week, too. I had cataract surgery last week and ended up having to take this whole week off to recover. Now I have to go in next Mon., Tues., and Wed. to make up the time. I'll be the one on Main Street walking in huge honking dark eye shields.

I'm counting right along with you. Tony's restaurant is actually on Main Street and not Toontown. When you enter the park, it's at the very beginning of Main Street, over on your right. The food is Italian and we've eaten here on a number of occassions. We found it to be very good. Here's a link to their menu, Tony's. The LTT requires a credit card to secure a PS. I think that the cancellation policy is 24 or 48 hours, so I would definitely keep trying.

If you call two days before you should be able to snag a PS at LTT.

Glad to see that after some very bad times, you're still getting out. I did the same thing after my mom died two years ago - had a day trip planned and still went. Glad I did.

For LTT, if you really want to go there, your best chances would be to either keep calling, or to be there before they open at 4pm. We've had luck getting to restaurants before they open, and being seated even when it was "booked." Good luck!

Glad to hear that your trip is comming up quick. We will be at WDW next Wed. 12/08. I would keep trying for LTT. We are doing MVMCP on 12/12. We ate at Cinderellas Royal Table for dinner last year before MVMCP and it was terrific.
