:thumbsup2

This is the 2nd time using the DDP and we loved it again. I was the worried one at first with all the changes since last year, but everything was great and the servers treated us no different then anyone around us. We did all 4 parks and ate and ate and ate. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Day 1 March 5 2008.
We were suppose to arrive at 11am but due to the weather in Buffalo and Jetblue we actually arrived at 11pm so our ADR for CM dinner had to be cancelled:sad2: :sad2: while still in the Buffalo airport. So we ate at the Rochester airport (diverted to that airport) at McDonalds:eek:

Day2 March 6 2008 Epcot

Finally arriving at midnight the night before, we got up early and headed to Epcot for opening but missed it by 1/2 hour. Due to missing our TS at CM the night before after riding Soarin I walked over to Garden Grill just to check and see if they had a opening at 12:00-12:30...... :woohoo: :woohoo: they did have a opening for us!!!!!

We had never been here before so I was so excited to eat. We got there and the food was excellent. Our waitress was so great and she was great with the kids. The drinks came and we just all had pops. Next came the corn bread with the sweet butter. This wasn'' the first time we had this on our trip and everyone loved it. Then the food came and the kids food also. The potatoes are to dye for and the steak and the mushrooms are too. The kids enjoyed there food too. Next came the dessert. The kids had a blast making there own cupcakes and the adults enjoyed the apple cobbler with sweet butter on it. We got to see all the characters except Pluto. My husband got sick because the restaurant rotates so he said he wouldn't return to this place again but it had nothing to do with the food. Total: 92.61 or 4 TS credits

While walking around the WS I had to get the SCHOOL BREAD everyone was talking about in Norway and was going to eat it for breakfast the next day. WOW that is all I can say. Total: 2.66 or 1 SC

Supper:
It was raining off and on all day and we had ADR's for 7:30 at Rose and Crown. We got there and was seated on the patio with the cover over us. It was really chilly and we were getting colder. They started opening the sides so people could get set to see Illuminations. The 3 of us ordered the fish and chips with pop and the youngest kids ordered the pizza and the mac and cheese. We had just started eating the dinner and it started to pour and I started getting wet and my youngest was getting a headache. The staff was really kind and moved us inside to a table. While this was going on I got really sick and thought I was going to hurl. So my daughter and I left and headed back to the resort while my DH and the other two kids stayed and ate. What I ate of the fish and chips it was really good. I didn't like the tartar sauce because it had too much dill in it. My DH brought us our dessert back and it was the guiness torte and I really didn't like it especially the grapes but it also had alot of water in it because of the rain. My DH had the same and loved it. My kids had the pudding and loved it. My oldest didn't eat dessert due to too full from dinner. We ate all desserts later on before bed. We had a excellent waitress and she couldn't of helped us anymore. We definately will return and hopefully it will not be raining and me and daughter will not be sick. Total: 83.29 or 4 TS We missed illuminations and all of us were very disappointed due to the weather and the sickness.

Day 3 March 6 2008 MK

After a real good rest for the night we got up early to open MK for 9am. We love the opening of this park and couldn't wait too see it again. It didn't disappoint us and I finally got to see Jimney Cricket!! We rushed to Main Street Bakery for breakfast. We got a apple charlotte, banana loaf, cheese danish and a cherry turnover. I didn't order anything because while getting dressed at POR I ate my School bread from the night before:) . Everything again was awesome as always and this is now a tradition for us. Total: 11.46 or 4 SC

Lunch: We had wanted to try a new CS at MK so we decided before we left we were going to try Pinocchios CS and also do to the reviews on this board. This place didn't disappoint us either. My DH and I had the Turkey Panini sandwich with chips and chocolate cake, my oldest had the chicken caesar salad with the chocolate cake and the youngest had the mac and cheese with grapes and carrots and the other one had the turkey pinwheels with the carrots and grapes and we all had pop. The place was busy so we didn't get to sit near the IASW windows but instead took a booth in the corner near the front of the restaurant. It was different from always having burgers from CR and we would eat here again. Total: 50.90 or 45 CS

Supper:
We had originally before we left had ADR's at Ohana's but due to the really bad reviews with the food change I had changed our ADR's a month out to CP. I was really happy that we did. This place is gorgious inside and the characters were awesome. I wondered after making the ADR's if my kids were too old for this character buffet but they loved it also. We all started out with salads and peel and eat shrimp and then went on to the hot food and then afterwards the desserts. Our waiter was Rand and he was excellent. Minus the table around the corner from us when the child took a temper tantrum and through the mother's camera across the table and she just looked at him and said you are bad:scared1: This place was everything every one said it was and more. This again was a new place for us and we will return again. Total: 122.43 or 4 TS

Day 4 March 8 2008 DMGM

Breakfast:
Due to flying in so late we didn't have a chance to buy groceries. We even tried to get grocery.com to send us food but they wouldn't without 24 hrs notice. So we used alot of our SC for breakfast at the POR food court. There was plenty to eat and none of us minded a quick breakfast on the run.
DH and I had the fruit cup and my DD had the muffin. My youngest and oldest had the yogart parfait. Let me tell you these are really filling and you get alot for the price. Total: 16.56 or 5 SC

Lunch:
We ate light for breakfast because we knew we were going on the TOT and was glad we did. We had decided again like last year that the kids really like PP so we headed there for lunch. We ate 3 pepperoni pizzas with salade and mickey rice krispies for dessert and 2 cheese pizzas with salade and the same dessert. We all had pop except the oldest had chocolate milk. Again this place is worth it with the DDP or not and you get lots of food. Most of the desserts were taken back to the resort with us for snacks on another day. Total: 67.99 or 5 CS

Dinner:
We had ADRS again like last year for Sci-fi. My kids love this place and DH and I do to. We have never had a bad meal here and love the atmosphere. We love sitting in the cars too. My DH had the burger and fries with the strawberry shake and had the apple crisp for dessert. Thought the burgers weren't on the supper menu the waitress again said he could have this. Again the food was great he said. My youngest had the kids hotdog and salade with the sundae and loved it too. My daughte had the kids burger with cheese and the salade with the sundae as well. My oldest had the chicken burger with brushetta but minus the brushetta (he doesn't like tomatoes) instead they let him put on cheese with fries and he had the strawberry shake and the apple crisp for dessert. He enjoyed it as well but couldn't finish the fries because he was too full. I had the ribs and fries with the coleslaw with the strawberry shake and for dessert I had the chocolate tart. The ribs were delicious but needed more sauce the rest was fine. The chocolate tart was to dye for and loved every bit of it. (Not sure if I liked it better then the school bread so far:rolleyes: )Again this meal didn't disappoint us again and will always be on our ADR list Total: 97.75 or 5 TS

I must sign off will add more later on tonight. Any questions again please let me know.
Coming up CM and Pecos Bills.

Great reviews - thanks for the dollar amt vs. credits. Just further proof that the dining plan is worth it!:goodvibes

Day 5 March 9 2008

Breakfast:
We got to sleep in this day due to having brunch at CM.

Brunch:
This place again is a tradition for us because of the characters and the food. We love this place and have never been disappointed yet. This time for the first time we were seated to the right of the main buffet, so we could see the castle at MK from our seats. We were in the corner of a big round table, I was worried that we wouldn't get to see the characters but we did. The food again was exceptional especially the potatoes and cheese. My DH actually couldn't finish his because he found them so filling and cheesey this time. I tried the cheese crepes for the first time and put cherries on top. Again out of this world. We left filled to the brim and loving our stay again. we all had orange juice to water our mouths. Total: 101.13 or 5 TS credits

Snacks:
We were in MK for the 2nd day again and doing the left side of the park, SOOO that would mean I would need a fixing of one of my favourite snacks. So we had 4 dolewhips and 1 dolewhip float. It was nice to have in the late afternoon in the sun. Total: 16.57 or 5 SC

Supper:
Another tradition of ours because we don't eat lunch this day is to eat while watching spectro magic infront of Pecos Bill's sitting on the walkway. Before we left I was so glad to hear that the kids could eat hamburgers here with the kids menu. We love this place and having to run to another CS for the kids can be a pain. So DH had the cheeseburger and fries with a coke and carrot cake for dessert. I had the famous chicken wrap with fries and a sprite with carrot cake for dessert. My oldest had the BBQ chicken sandwich with fries and a chocolate milk with the carrot cake for dessert too. My youngest and daughter had the kids hamburgers both with fries and grapes for dessert and sprite. This place never changes and we always come back. I always add fried mushrooms and onions to the wrap and to the fries and my DH always does to the hamburger. Total: 50.91 or 5 CS

Snack:

I knew this was our last day going to MK, so on the way out after wishes waiting for the bus lines to slow down, I had to stop off at Main Street Bakery and pick up a cinnamon bun for the way home. I ate it at home just yesterday and it was still nice and moist. Total: 2.76 or 1 SC

My son wanted to spend some of his SC too so he went to the Confectionary store at the end of Main Street near the exit of MK and got a big lollipop and a raspberry and white chocolate cookie. Total: 6.87 or 2 SC

Coming next: Animal Kingdom and WCC

Sounds like a good trip. We jsut got back late on the 7th and had a great time too.
One question, how old are your kids. I notice somtimes you use 4 credits and sometimes you use 5. But for table service don't you have to use at least 5 if they are all of age? Or is it a typo maybe?

We ate at Graden Grill too. Your DH must be really sensitve to motion. I am usually and could barely tell it moved. We were joking at how slow it actually does move. LOL! We couldtake or leave the food there. The catfish was good, but the turkey was dry and we didn't care for the beef at all.

What was PP at Hollywood studios. We didn't getto do a counter service there as DD got sick that day. I wasn't really sure what was good there anyways.

We ate at Chef Mickeys last year for breakfast, and though it was OK, I didn't find alot of it that good. I have heard mixed reviews o nthe food, but heard that dinner is much better. I would like to go back and try it again. The characters are wonderful though. We also ate at CP last eyar and was one of our favorites. the food was really good and loved Pooh and gang.
Keep them coming!

Enjoying your reviews.:thumbsup2 We just ate at CP for the 1st time on our last trip and loved it. Glad you had a good experience too.:goodvibes

We have 2 kids in our family so I just added them all together. So when you see 5 credits, it actually is 3 adults and 2 kids.
PP was Pizza Planet, it is across from Muppets 3D. It has all the toystory characters on the top of the building outside. It is suppose to resemble the pizza planet in the story where buzz and woody get taken by the neighbour next store.
I was surprising the kids. The day we arrived I was going to take them to CM for supper (they thought we were going to Planet Hollywood), but our plane arrived quite late and we had to cancel dinner.
thanks for the comments:yay:

Day 6 March 10 2008 AK

Breakfast: Was our SC again at the POR food court. We tried to get up early again and get the EMH but we couldn't and made it there a hour late. We ate at the POR food court 2 Yogart parfaits, chocolate croissant, danish, and fruit cup. All good again and filling Total: 16.79 or 5 SC

Lunch: Another tradition again is the Flame Tree and sitting near the water with those lovely ducks:rotfl2: My youngest ordered the hot dog with the grapes and carrots with a water, my daughte ordered the chicken wings and the carrots and the grapes with a lemonade. Both liked there meals but both said the carrots tasted aweful. My oldest ordered the Pork sandwich with the beans and a lemonade with the chocolate cake, my DH ordered the beef sandwich with the beans and a coke with the chocolate cake too. Both enjoyed the meal and we brought the cakes home to eat. I had the pork sandwich and had them change the beans for coleslaw and they did it with no extra charge. I had a lemonade with mine. Liked all meals no problems and the ducks loved us this year. Total: 43.04 or 5 CS

Supper: Well this TS I screwed up on and booked WCC for this night instead of Boma. So at 6:00pm we left AK and took the Fort Wilderness bus to WCC. We had never been here so it was nice to walk around the resort inside to check out the scenery. This was a new place for us and I couldn't wait to try the milkshakes and the skillet. We weren't seated in the main big area but just to the side of it with our backs to the lobby of the hotel. We could still see all the action but not as much as being in the main seating area. Our waitress was bery good "lazy Sue" and she played good with us and the kids. We all ordered shakes to start off with, 4 Strawberry and 1 chocolate. I made the mistake of asking for a straw and she threw 4 at me:rotfl2: She was loud and my DH got a kick out of the waiters walking by us with the racks to hold the trays up and stomping them on the floor like horses.
We all ordered the skillet and was amazed at it when it came. I had seen pictures but couldn't really believe it until I saw it. The peel and eat shrimp was devoured quite quick and so was the chicken and the ribs. The kids loved the cornbread again and the salade too. The kids got watermelon or salade to choose from. One took watermelon and the other took salade. 1/2 during the meal the kids were called up for the horse parade around the restaurant and they were laughing the whole time. We ate so much we couldn't even order dessert. So Lazy Sue said to take it home. So the kids ordered the worm and dirt chocolate pudding and my DH and I ordered the cheesecake with smores and my oldest ordered the apple caramel pie. We had a great time at this place and would love to return this time on a empty stomach. We ate the desserts later on the next day and they were delicious especially my son's apple caramel cake. Total: 147.90 or 5 TS

Coming next: Boma and CS at POR

Great reviews. Enjoyed your review of the WCC, I have it booked for our Aug trip for the first time.

We are going for the first time in July and have nothing booked yet, I enjoy reading your reviews but I have no idea what your talking about with the abbrevations.

Day 7 March 11 2008 BB

Breakfast: The kids were bouncing off the walls when they woke up because we were heading to BB for the first time. We headed down to the food court at POR and we had CS credits left over from the 2nd day so we decided to use them on this particular day. My daughter had the kids waffle meal which included one mickey waffle, 1 sausage, and 1 piece of bacon with a orange juice. My youngest son wasn't that hungry so he just had cereal with milk. My DH and oldest son had the bounty platter which includes basically everything besides the kitchen sink:laughing: they both had water and oj for drink. I had the waffle platter which included a bigger waffle then my daughters with strawberries on top with 1 sausage and 1 slice of bacon. I also had the water and oj for drink. Since we hadn't had a real breakfast since we arrived this meal went over quite well. Total: 48.73 or 5 CS

Lunch: Well you all mostly know when you mix children and water and rides you get "I'm not hungry, I'm leaving for summit plummit again bye" :woohoo: So that is where lunch went. We tried but it didn't work and to be honest, we all were still full from WCC the night before. We likely couldn't eat even if we wanted too.

Supper:
All watered out and still feeling the water rushing behind me going down slusher gusher we headed to our last ADR of the trip at Bomas.
Again this was a new restaurant for us and because of the fantastic reviews from the disboard and the food porn pictures I had to try this place out for myself. This resort like Fort Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous and similiar besides the animals. The lobby was breathtaking and while waiting for our table we ventured out to see some animals. We got to see the peligans and the zebras and the kids were thrilled. When we were seated, the place was breathtaking but dark. Didn't upset us and actually set the nice atmosphere. Our waiter was Martin and he was very good. We all headed up to the buffet and we all tried mostly everything except for the lamb pie:eek: I loved the sundried hummus and the roast beef. My kids loved the mac and cheese and the fruit. My DH was going up for his 2nd plate at the buffet when my son started bouncing up and down:eek: My DH said do you have to go the bathroom and he said no and took off for the table. I was sitting down at the table enjoying my 2nd plate when my DH came back with his and my son said I have to go the bathroom and ..... you guessed it he stood at the table in the aile and went the bathroom:eek:   I was so mordified, my DH was so mad because he had asked him did he have to go and he said no. My DH took him to the bathroom, in the meantime I asked a waitress for some napkins there was a mess on the floor. The manager came and said "oh did someone spill a drink"?? I quitely said no my son had a accident and I will clean it up. She said oh no and went and got napkins and plastic gloves. I felt awefull and also the table beside us made me kinda feel bad, she made sure her older kids didn't walk that way to the buffet for the rest of the night even after it was all cleaned up and sprayed with a cleaner. I guess she forgot what it was like to have younger kids!! Finally DH and youngest arrived back and my son had new shorts (thanks to buying them at the AKL store). My DH after that didn't really want to eat anything else:sad2:
I went up for dessert because I wanted to try the famous ZEBRA DOMES. I have to admit I was a little disappointed:scared: They just didn't hit me the right way. Not like the school bread did:woohoo: . So we left full but would like to try this place again with my youngest son with a empty bladder:laughing: Total: 113.91 or 5 TS

Coming up next: Our last day and DTD.
