Well here goes: August 30 thru Sept 6.

Day one, Landed at 1100 am and got our rental car immediately and drove to Steak and Shake, my DH couldnt wait for one of their burgers!:smooth:

Then we went to CBR and checked in, we were lucky our room was ready and it was only 1pm.

We quickly unpacked, and we were off to the MK. We had dinner ressies at the Crystal Palace , so we were able to get in a few rides before dinner. This was probably the one day the Parks seemed to be crowded. We were able to walk right on PoC, HoP, IASM.Then it was time for an early dinner, food was good, service was wonderful, pooh and friends were even better. Went back on a few more rides, walked around, wanted to stay for the parade and fireworks, but very crowded and we were pretty tired( we had gotten up at 4am). So we went back to the hotel to try to get a good nights sleep.

Day Two,
Epcot. Walked on all rides except Test Track, used fast pass.

Very hot and humid, spent most of the day at Epcot, had dinner ressies for the Garden Grill, where we did the rehitching ceremony. Very cute, nice certificate and tigger and mickey were there for it.

Went to World Showcase after dinner, did the Malstrom, mexico and walked around, watched illuminations and then went back to CBR.

and I am always so excited we still have to visit a park.....but I would like some one to put me in a carriage and give me a ride.....thanks so much for your report.....sounds like your rehitching ceremony was fun....

Your adventure is off to a good start - thanks for posting!

What building were you in at the CBR and did you like the location, bus service etc.?

TMQ2766- We were in Aruba bldg 51. Pretty far from the main pool, food court and the bus stop.

We did walk a couple of times, very pretty walk over a bridge but to be honest, after walking all day at the parks, we really didnt feel like walking at night, so mostly we drove around. We didnt use the bus service since we had a rental car, it was just easier to use.

Have a great trip and I will try to post more on our trip later.

How neat that you did the "rehitching" ceremony. Did you take any photos? Could we see one of them?

Great beginning for your trip. Thanks for posting this, we missed you while you were gone.

Just curious as to what airline and airport you used. We used southwest out of islip in aug and it was so expensive $190 but they had a direct early flight which delta and american didnt offer out of la guardia. Also just curious if you used a ground transportation co. in ny. We usually use classic out of bohemia so just curious. Ay info would be appreciated and thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Hi Nativetxn, my DS took pictures of the rehitching with a throw away camera, as soon as I get them back I will post. Happy to be back, but miss Disney already!!!

Luvmarypoppins, We took Southwest out of Islip McArthur airport, we had a great deal, less then $400 round trip for the 3 of us. No ground transport, we literaly live behind the runway, so as Islip residents, we left our car and parked free for the week.

We are planning our next trip for 2005, because we are going to DAB in July of 2004 and probably wont get to Disney.

Thanks for the questions, it helps me relive a little bit of our wonderul vacation.
