Day - Monday, April 4
The family was pretty tired this morning, so they slept in until 8:30. I went down to the pool around 7:30 and took a swim, got some breakfast at Roaring Forks and brought it back to the room. Temps go up into the low 80's today.
We finally got on the boat at 11:00. MK was packed! The UG says Monday is a busy day - and they were right on. Using fast pass always makes it better, but there was not doubt about it - very busy. We went to Tomorrowland and got Stitch's autograph, got a fast pass for Buzz and then rode Astro Orbiter - one of my daughter's favorites. We then shopped a little and went on Buzz. We ate lunch at Cosmic Rays - which was very good - sitting on the deck. Mom and daughter went to see Belle's Storytime, and I went to Frontierland for a fastpass for Big Thunder Mountain. Got back to Belle, and then went to the Haunted Mansion. Got a fast pass for Splash Mountain and rode BTM (that was it on the trip formy wife with roller coasters!). Went to the Hall of Presidents and got an ice cream while the parade started. Went back to Splash and decided to get out of dodge - it was getting hot, lot of people, and we were getting cranky.
The boat to WL took a long time to arrive, and when we got back, we were wiped. After breaking for a while, we went swimming (daughter learned to swim underwater for the first time!), and then went to Whispering Canyon Cafe for 8:30 reservations. It was great - the food was excellent and the waiters were fun.
