Thanks for posting! I have to ask this--are any of your photos "all-auto" (auto focus, auto exposure, auto etc.) or do you always adjust something? Like the gorilla picture--how did you take that?

Great photos! Wish I had 1/10 of the talent you have!!! I love taking pictures and have a decent camera but I don't know how to use it properly. One day I will take a class and find out how to use all those settings!!

Mmm- well- I don't use any of the full auto modes really. I usually use Aperature priority during the day and Shutter priority at night. Always use auto-focus unless it's something unusual like fireworks. Hope this helps.

Your pictures are amazing. I'm really loving your live trip report. How's the weather been cause it hasn't stopped raining in Fort Lauderdale in what feels like forever.

DAY 3 PART 1

First off let me start by saying Day 3 (yesterday) was exhausting- We opened one park (MK) and closed another (Epcot)- whew. Fun but tiring.

We began the day at MK for the rope drop- that was fun and something we had not done in quite a while.

So much for light crowds in September. Here is the park a few minutes after 9:00 -

Actually it was not too bad once we got past the initial rush getting in the gates and down Main Street. Well we made a bee-line for Tinks Treasures because Camryn has been dreaming of waking up Tinkerbell for a long time. Too bad someone beat us to her by a few minutes. But we did meet a very nice CM who noticed their shirts and asked them if they liked the Small World ride. Lauren of course does- Camryn thinks she is too old for it now but was cautious about being left out of anything. So they both got to be Cruise Directors for the day and send off the first boats with a wave.

They were thrilled with that- Thanks for the Dream Come True Disney.

After that we went on Dumbo and Peter Pan...

Camryn getting tired of the camera and thinking she is too growd-up for Dumbo.

And one Kelly took still liking her new camera.

DAY 3 PART 2

The weather has been great the last few days- warm and breezy- no rain since Sunday so we are happy. The morning ride lines in MK were all pretty much a walk on- but my girls of course were able to locate some lines. We waited about 20 minutes to see Minnie and almost 45 minutes to meet three princesses- but thats what they wanted to do next.

After all thet we hopped right on the Barnstormer (Laurens favorite ride at the time- more on that later) and then headed to the Main Street Bakery for a late breakfast of Chocolate Muffins (them) and a Cinamon Roll (me). After that we headed out since it was really Epcot Day- we mainly came to MK for Tink and the Barnstormer. Barnstormer was closed Sunday night during EMH and Lauren had been upset about it ever since. So she was happy now.

On the way out we saw the Mayor walking with the Fire Chief- Seems the buildings on Main Street passed their fire inspection once again.

A few shots taken on the way back to the TTC on the monorail.

This interested me because the company I work for is involved with the construction- the new wing on the Contemporary Resort.

Next Stop- Epcot.

DAY 3 PART 3

Got to Epcot around 4:00- just in time for our ADR's at 4:40 at Le Cellier. Mmmmm- Sorry- did not think about food pictures at all yesterday. So we grabbed fast passes for Soarin' and went to eat.

Here are a few of the golf ball looking more like a golf ball again without the wand.

Crowds were very light at Epcot mid-day as you can see. The stand-by lines were 10-20 minutes for everything but Soarin' which was 50 Min.
After we ate we had time to do Test Track before our fast passes kicked in- standby line said 20 Min but it was more like 5 Min.

This ride is more Camryn's speed. Lauren was a little nervous because she did not like BTMR the other day all that much.

But Lauren did decide to ride it after she saw the toy cars we ride in- I assured her it was no faster than Mommy drives.

After the ride Lauren wanted to test out the cars- She like the Tahoe.

But I think she looked best in the rugged H2

After all they have the greatest TV commercial ever made IMHO.

Then it was off to Soarin'
