Is there any way to get an 8 day hopper or hoper-plus pass?

For my next 2 trips I am looking at needing a total of 8 days in passes. I can not find an 8 day pass anywhere. An annual pass will not work since only 2 days will over-lap next year.

Can you buy a 7-day pass and add a day on? I've read that if your buy a 4-day pass you can upgrade to a 5 - Is this possible with a 7?

The plus features are not really important to me - Hopefully I'd be able to use it some day - but not in the next 2 trips. It's looking like I'll have to purchase 2 4-day passes.

I am a compulsive park-hopper so a 7-day plus a 1-day 1-park would not work.

Any suggestions
Thanks,
Kim

I am not aware of any 8 day hopper passes, or the ability to add 1 day on. 8 days is generally the break even point of buying an AP. I don't quite understand why you think an AP would be a bad idea for you. If it were me, that's what I would be getting. You don't get any plusses with an AP, but you stated that really wasn't important to you. I suppose you could buy 2 4-day hoppers, but I don't think that's cheaper than an AP, is it?

To the best of my knowledge, there is no 8 Day PH or PHP pass offered.

Since your park days will be spread over 2 trips and the two trips do not fall within a 365 day period, none of the other options I can think off for 8 days will work for you. Looks to me like you are correct - two 4 Day PH tickets will probably be the best economic value.

Best wishes -

Ahh, now I understand. I missed that this was for two trips. In that case two 4 day hoppers would probably be best. Either that or if you know you will go again in the future, buy the 7 day and a 4 day and save the extra 3 days for a future trip. Won't save you money now, but will in the future.

Get the 7 day hopper/plus and force yourself to go to one of the waterparks and use one of those plusses(you might be surprised how much you enjoy it). Then just split AK and MGM for one of the other days.

Thanks everybody,

We will be going to the parks 4 days this year & 4 days next - 4/days & nights this year with dd & my parents - next year will be with dd & dh.

I was hoping I could get as many days as possible this year then it will be an easier "sell" next year with dh. I sounds better to say "yes, we still have to pay for lodging, food, etc. - but MY tickets are paid for" :jester:

I may get the 7 day and then a 1-day/park ticket next year - the last day we probably wouldn't have time to hop anyways. I still have to run the #'s  Only 2 days would "cross over" next year so an AP definately would not work since I could only use it 6 days.
