8 am Park Openings with new Open Procedure?

Trying to finalize our plans for our trip the week before Easter (April 9-15th) - I know crowds will be insane, but that's when they scheduled the kids' spring break - what are you gonna do?

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts, speculation or inside knowledge as to whether they'll shift the MK open to 8 am the way they normally do on the busiest weeks of the year.

To my knowledge, they haven't opened Main St to the public at 7 for an 8 am Park open since the new procedure went in effect, correct?

Currently, MK AM EMH are scheduled for every day of that week except Thursday. I'd be really surprised if the EMH opened at 7, but I could see them opening Main St at 8am and only running the rides for resort guests until opening it up to everyone at 9 as usual.

I realize nothing is final until Disney posts it, just trying to stir up some guesses from the experts at this point....

MK has opened at 8:00a after the new Welcome Show began. Here are quotes from @yulilin3 regarding the 8:00a opening:

which is the case this coming Jan 28th, the park opens to all at 8am the show is at 7:55

in particular the park opens at 8am, Main Street will open at 7am, show at 7:55am.

Take 'em out of school! LOL We always did. DW protested the first time, when DS was 10. I told her if missing one week of school is going to cause him to fail then we've got bigger issues than him missing one week of school. Second time she didn't even put up a fight. Teachers were pretty cool about it for the most part. Both times had one that gave a lot of attitude. And both times had at least one ask if they could come along. LOL Doing a little extra homework sure was worth not dealing with the crowds if you ask me.

To note in addition to what hiro posted, the welcome show happens 5 minutes prior to regular park open, even on EMH days. This is different from the old procedure.

Thanks, so I guess what I haven't seen yet is a morning where they have opened to the public at 8 am, Main St and EMH at 7 am?

I suppose they could always kill one of the MK EMH mornings on the week of 4/9-16, and just open it for everyone at 8am.

We have not had one of those yet.
But it will not impact operations at all. The morning will commence as it does now with EMH, just an hour earlier
