8:30pm reservation at Jako

OK so we are staying at the contemporary but have a 8:30 reservation at Jako.. Just wondering how we can get back to the Contemporary after we eat using Disney Transportation...

I assume you mean Jiko, at Animal Kingdom Lodge? The easiest way back to the Contemporary using Disney transportation is to take a bus from AKL to MK and walk back to the Contemporary from there.

If there are no more buses running to MK after your dinner (you may not be finished with dinner until 10-10:30 or so, which means the parks may be closed for some time), using Disney transportation you would take a bus from AKL (again, assuming you mean Jiko) to Disney Springs and then take a bus from Disney Springs to CR.

It depends what time MK closes that night. You may have to take a bus to Disney Springs and transfer to a Contemporary bus there. Lyft/Uber is much, much easier, of course,

I would take a taxi/Uber/Lyft/Minnievan if the bus to MK is done.
Going to DS and then to Contemporary could take easily 60-90 minutes.
