8/30 Disunplugged show Rumors segment

Hey everyone! I first wanted to thank the team especially Craig (@Teleclashter ) for talking about my article and the major rumors for the month of August.

With that said I want to clear some things up. Yes these are all rumors that I report however everything I report comes from credible/reliable sources. I don't just report rumors that have no traction or come from someone I haven't heard of before.

Magic Kingdom

Main Street Electrical Parade is indeed going to DL and likely is never coming back. I have also heard since my article was published that we are not getting PTN so MK will be without a parade.

Craig did skip a big rumor though, Stitch is leaving tomorrowland for a wreck it Ralph attraction.

Epcot

Based on what I am hearing Epcot could be seeing some major updates and changes just like DHS.

@Ryno - even though the guardians will be in the avengers they can still be used in Orlando according to how I've seen the contract interpreted.

DHS

The Mickey Mouse style attraction is a hot rumor and would be a trackless type ride. Again this comes from a credible and reliable source. With that yes the Turner Classic movie sponsorship ends in 2018 but if this ride happens the sponsorship would end early and GMR would close as we know it in 2017.

AK

Yes Rivers of Light will open before the end of the year. I didn't quite understand why everyone at the table didn't think it would. Testing has been going on during the day and late at night (seen as recently via Twitter video last week). Issues with the floats have been fixed but brought up some smaller issues but they hope to have the show running in October which would help with the trade off of MSEP.

I hope this clears some things up.

Just finished watching the end of the podcast but had heard about some of these rumors on the boards. Thanks for providing more clarification and info.

...and when Ryan says trackless for GMR, think Ratatouille ala Disneyland Paris or Spiderman 3D at Uni.

...and when the podcast crew says RoL won't happen this year, it's due to the fact that it's listed under "night time entertainment" that is getting put on the shelf for Fall and presumably won't pick up until Spring of 2017. Although, maybe they forget that the sun sets sooner in the fall + daylight savings time ends November 6th.

Yes specifically Ratatouille with an LPS system.

Disney has not announced that nighttime entertainment will be put on the shelf. The only thing going away is jungle book. I truly believe hours will be extended and changed for the fall.
