We did the 8:30am Segway Tour the end of April. We stayed at POR. We got to the bus stop at approx. 7am figuring there would be an early bus for tours & character breakfasts. We waited & waited, finally asked 2 different bus drivers and both told us the Epcot bus wouldn't start the loop until 7:45am. We were the 1st stop in the loop and sure enough the Epcot bus pulls up at 7:45am. It completes its loop through PO (Riverside & French Quarter) and at the last stop it sat and waited until 8am to leave the resort. Got to Epcot and had to half power walk/jog all the way down to one of the last entrance gates where there was only 1 person checking to make sure people let in had tour or breakfast reservations. Then through security with our camera bags, through the gate and then again power walk/jog to guest services. By this time it was approx. 8:25am. When we got to GS there were only 2 people out of the 9 in our group there. The rest in the group started filing in right after us. I was stressed thinking we weren't going to make it in time and they would turn us away. DH & I enjoyed the Segway Tour very much and plan on doing it again at some point, but we will not take the bus to get there. It wasn't worth the stress. Next time we'll drive our own car or take a taxi.
