8/21/11 What's happening today?

Morning all
Late start for me just didn't want to get up and move.

Caroline and the dumpster have insprired me to ATTACK our bedroom. I still have the table in there from wrapping xmas presents!!! that is BAD!

So with that being said the only other thing I have to do is make quick snacks for the monthly scrap and go to that for 1hour then it back to the bedroom.

Boy Christy your house is going to be so organized

special prayer request...one of my previous Big Give families little girl Kylee is back in the hospital due to other issues with her illness and now has pneumonia and elevated heart rate....she's such a little warrior, please keep her in your prayers, thanks

my brother and nephew are coming over this afternoon to remove Megan's closet doors and shelf, getting a new system put in on Tuesday! need to clear everything out this morning. She's tired of the doors...sliding..so found some cute curtains on-line to put up instead.

haven't felt motivated to get any scrapping done, going to try again today

other stuff:
empty dishwasher
finish laundry
straighten up the house a bit

I'm going to be taking "senior portraits" for the son of someone that works with DH and I getting paid Hopefull they'll turn out alright. I've never gotten paid for my photography before.

This afternoon we're heading to my mom's to celebrate August birthdays (Rachel's mine and my brother's).

Tomorrow is the first day of school for the girls

I'm going to be taking "senior portraits" for the son of someone that works with DH and I getting paid Hopefull they'll turn out alright. I've never gotten paid for my photography before.

This afternoon we're heading to my mom's to celebrate August birthdays (Rachel's mine and my brother's).

I sure hope ladies at least the top floor of the house will be. It's only 3 rooms and why I let them get like this I really don't know. Actually I do everytime someone shows up I scoop up stuff and dump it up there cause no one can see it. A very bad habbit that I need to break.

Happy Birthday Cheryl!!! since I seemed to have missed it.

Day was interrupted by porcupine quills in the nose of Bailey this is her second round of them. I now need another shower and new cloths after that battle. L's girlfriends mom is a vet tech so she just checked in to see if we needed help. thankfully there were only 5 this time.

off to get a few more drawers cleaned out and organized then off to scrappin

Things have been quiet busy here!!!

Christy, enjoy the house cleaning and organzing..while it's hard work the results and the sense of pride in it finally being done and looking great is well worth it!!!

Cheryl, enjoy the day and good luck to the girls on their first day back to school!!
Rachal, enjoy the day!!! Not much longer for the arrival of K!!!

I have lots to do today...but I may spread it out across this next week because I was asked to create 7 more of the state books!!!!
I may do one a day starting Wednesday and be done by next Tuesday to have them ready to go out on Wednesday the 31st!!!

I need to clean my scraproom so I can get things reorganzied so that is my goal today..
I need to fold the last load of laundry
DS15 needs to run over to a friends and grab his away uniform shorts that one of the boys borrowed when he forgot his shorts for practice
DH to finish staining new steps in the dining room
DH to go get paint to finish repainting my family room on Tuesday
DD to get name of book for her college course so we can order it online (I am NOT paying 100 for a book... if I can find it cheaper) was able to rent it dirt cheap!!
kids to clean rooms (won't take long..since they are in school the most damage in their rooms are unmade beds! LOL)

Went to the farmers market - all I need from the store this week will be dairy! Yes, it costs a little more but SO fresh and MUCH more fun than going to the store.

Christy, how can you go to a crop for only an hour?

I would have thought she'd learned after the first one. That was a faceful!

Scraping went well. But I'm done with the monthly's just have lost interest. I could better use the time at home and I will start setting aside a few hours on a sunday to do it.

Off to the bedroom and close up the windows major storm moving in again.

Linda it's a monthly one that we go learn something new and do 2 pages then we're out of there. She calls it a crop and it's rubbing off on me.

One of my sisters' birthdays is the 28th. We have a lot of August birthdays in my family. (My nephew, my sister-in-law, me, and 2 sisters who happen to be 364 days apart).

Not much happening today. I've got a killer headache, thinking it's a storm coming through. Going to figure out what's for dinner and find a way to make it through to 9:00. I want to see the Glee Project finale!

Good luck to everyone with thier cleaning and reorganizing!! Now how do I get you to rub off on DS, he has no interest is sorting out his mess!!! I told him if her leaves it for me, he will have nothing left in his room but his bed, bureau and bookcase. We'll see.

My SIL birthday is August 28th too. Happy birthday to Rachal and Cheryl!!! Hope your days are fabulous!!!

Jennifer, hope your headache goes away soon. My sinuses started bothering me this afternoon so I'm not sure what's headed our way but I wish it would be over with soon. Julia and I are both looking forward to the Glee Project finale tonight.

Nan, your daily list just makes me tired reading it, I hope you are able to relax at some point soon.

Christy, hope Bailey is okay. Quills don't sound nice.

Dh left the house early to get wood.
Make breakfast for DD and I.
Did some Mt. Washmore shuffle
Worked in my scrapping room for a bit.
Helped my Mom power sort her London pictures
Go over to DB and DSIL's to celebrate my Mom's birthday
Do my four miles on the bike
Change all the cat boxes.
