I can't believe this. I step away for a few hours and I've lost over 10 pages. And a pirate to boot.

Ok now I really do need that monkey to shoot.

POST 1001-1500 SUMMARY:

- There were extra theme dinners on the 2005 Repo along with a Disney Princess tea for all the kids and a Mickey Olympic type game.
- Embarkation is similar to how it is now done in PC with the boarding numbers.
- When someone posts "TAKE WHAT YOU CAN!" the proper response is "GIVE NOTHING BACK!"
- David Cassidy, Donny & Marie, Andy Gibb, Leif Garret remembered.
- Stacey walks her dog in her robe & slippers and her wrist really hurts.
- Captaincrash cannot answer with just a yes or a no.
- Sk8ingmom's DH will lead the DIS tour group in Cartagena.
- Everyone should rent Romancing The Stone before we cruise.
- For those that are looking into flights to LA for the cruise it is cheaper to fly into Orange County airport, Burbank, Ontario or Long Beach .
- Captaincrash had a large fire come within 150 yards of his home. The fire was stopped & his family was fine.
- How to save your place when reading the thread on page 95.
- Noone likes snakes or bugs...especially giant ones that fly!
- Discussion of college, employment & skills.
- How did you meet your mate?
- Checklist to find out if you are hooked on DIS #1497.

Great recap.

So how'd you find time to take all those notes AND race for the pirate. Do you have 3 hands or something?

Wait until everyone gets up and realizes that yesterdays tally count went from page 109 to page 138 or more. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

ROFL!!! Nah! I type fast and read just as quickly. It's called multitasking. I usually skim the boards while in chat on Friday night. :)

Well, guys it has been a real blast but I have to bale out on the party. 7 am comes too quickly. :( I stayed off the DIS for a few days & went to sleep before 11. I am on the DIS for less than a day & am up past midnight. OY!

So I guess I will go raid the chocolate cake in the fridge and then go to bed. Its been a very fun evening with our milestone and our new song. We just have to figure out how we are going to make a W. Until tomorrow morning then.........

And now that I have time to sit and post, everyone's leaving....:rolleyes1 ....guess I'll have to talk to myself

Okay Crash or any other United FF---I was just over looking at those miles. I glanced at their reward chart and it appears to have changed since the last time I checked it. I thought it was 25,000 US/ 35,000Hawaii........
Now if I am reading it correctly it is 50,000US/70,000 Hawaii.....
What happened???? My miles sure aren't going to stretch very far at those rates.

Calm down...

... you must have looked at the STANDARD Award table. Because the SAVER Award table still shows 48 state flights are 25,000 for coach, 45,000 for business and 60,000 for first. And for Hawaii it is 35,000, then 75,000 fo business and 90,000 for first. Europe and South America is 50/80/120K plus 10K for SA in 1st class. Japan, North and South Asia are 60/90/120. AND... AROUND the world is 200/300/400K.

The STANDARD Awards are unrestricted and can be booked on ANY seat that is open. The 48 state flights are 50,000 for coach, 90,000 for business and 120,000 for first. And for Hawaii it is 70,000, then 150,000 fo business and 190,000 for first. Europe and South America is 100/180/220K. Japan, North and South Asia are 100/200/240. AND... AROUND the world seats are NOT available as a STANDARD AWARD.
